MemberGood evening Kevin and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Before we begin, Just to set expectations, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues.
We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization. With that in mind, I would love to help you on the right track with this topic.
As such, my first recommendation would be to read the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/customize-rss-feed/
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Gergana and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.
As a first step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Secondly, could you tell me if the events for which you wish to reset count are handled via WooCommerce ?
With that in mind, there is a way to manually reset the counters (but I recommend a database backup first): https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/need-to-clear-number-of-sales-by-ticket/#post-1130646
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Avinash and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.
The good news is that it’s possible to do these 2 things.
However, bypassing WooCommerce also means that there will be nothing truly transactional going on directly on the site. For actual purchases to be made (with payment info, etc..) you will have to handle that completely outside of our plugins.
The best way to achieve this is through a template customization. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
Also, I recommend reading my colleague Brook’s take on removing….. the RSVP option: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/possible-to-remove-rsvp-as-a-ticket-option/#post-1102859This should get you started on the right track.
You might also give the following snippet a try: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/hiderestrict-access-to-a-ticket-type/#post-63122
As for adding an additional field, you can simply read the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-additional-fields/
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

We are sorry to hear about the custom Map header code no longer working on your site.

Furthermore, to put this in context. Could you please send me a copy of your WordPress theme / child theme in a .zip file link (via Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ?

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the buttons being hidden.
I would love to help you with this topic. As a side note, before we begin, there is an update available for Community Events.
After a database backup, you might want to upgrade to take advantage of our latest tweaks.Would it be possible for you to:
- Send me a link to the page where your clients should see the buttons ?
- Perhaps create a dummy client access for me (with login info in a private reply)
- Send me a copy of your WordPress theme / child theme in a .zip file link (via Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ?
Hang in there!
Best regards,

MemberGood evening Anders and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear that there are parts of the calendar that are no longer displaying after changing the website’s address.
I would love to help you with this topic.Since I am not sure how you proceeded in your website’s migration, we have to consider the possibility that you might not have done a complete Database migration (changing all the URLs and paths in the Database).
That being said, I do have a couple of follow-up questions to try to pinpoint the cause of the issue:
- Did your previous website use PHP 7 as well ?
- Could you tell me what your setting is in Events -> Settings -> Display for Events template ? While you are at it, you might want to experiment with different setting for that dropdown to see if that helps.
- Could you provide me with a screenshot of the “Edit Event” screen for that event ?
Best regards,

MemberGood evening Valerie and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.
I would recommend using WooCommerce’s snippet: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/set-a-custom-add-to-cart-url-to-redirect-to/
As an alternative, there are a few plugins to do this too: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-add-to-cart-custom-redirect/
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Craig and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the error message you are bumping into while creating recurring events.
I would love to help you with this topic.Normally, there should be a way to deal with all of your concerns (including data intensity).
It boils down to a few things:- Making sure that you have the proper settings (especially under Events -> Settings -> General – Clean up recurring events after and Create recurring events in advance for)
- Doing some automated DB maintenance via a third-party plugin
- Making sure this runs on a decent server that matches the client’s needs (number of events, type of views used, trafic, etc..)
Could you expand a bit on that client’s needs (see point 3).
Would it also be possible to get a screenshot of the edit event screen so that I can get a sense of what a typical gym event looks like.
Best regards,

August 29, 2016 at 9:55 pm in reply to: Tickets for members vs. non-members AND registration/login before buying tickets #1157407Geoff B.
MemberGood evening Chris and welcome back!
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.
1. I want to find it out if possible and if so, how, to set up tickets for customers that are members of a club at a certain price and then tickets at a different price for customers who are not members.
That is a great question. The short answer is yes. It is possible to do that.
This can be achieved with WooCommerce via some additional plugins and/or a bit of customization.
There are many plugins and ways to go about this, but as a starting point you might want to take a look at: https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-memberships/
You could then set a special automatic discount for members or use some other kind of WordPress role based discount / product visibility solution.2. If I am using Gravity Form to build a registration form customers need to complete before they are registered as users on the site, how do I integrate that form with the register/login function for buying of tickets?
I am not 100% percent clear on what type of integration you are looking for. Could you expand on that ?
Or perhaps, you could send me a link to your Gravity Form so that I can take a look.In any case, just make sure you are using the user registration add-on: http://www.gravityforms.com/add-ons/user-registration/
This ensures that a WordPress user gets created from the form.At that point, the same user will be used for WooCommerce purchases. So you have to make sure it has a proper WordPress role to enable discounts and such.
3. Can I set it that a customers’s User ID 1st be checked against the club database (even if this is a manual process) before the ticket purchase is approved?
By default, the tickets are not sent right away. The transaction need to be set to “Complete” before the customer receives anything.
So that could act as a manual process to check against the club database perhaps ?But by then, technically, the payment as already been made. If you want more control than that you could:
- Check out some of the order status control plugins out there such as: https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-order-status-control/
- Program a customization to do the validation automatically. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
- Hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the issue you are experiencing when publishing event with a Saved Venue.
I would love to help you with this topic.Based on the screenshot you sent, there seems to be a conflict at play here.
I am not sure of the cause at this point, but there are a few things I can think of:- There might be a template customization in your WordPress. Could you please send me a copy of your WordPress theme / child theme in a .zip file link (via Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ?
- It is possible that PHP 7 might be in cause. But perhaps I should take a look at your theme first.
Additionally, would it be possible to get screenshots of:
- How that event displays in the front-end ?
- The details of the Edit Venue screen ?
Best regards,

MemberBonsoir Julye,

MemberGood evening Dave,
Yes absolutely, this is still being worked on for sure.
You might want to try the previous workaround shared as a temporary solution (although there is a chance this won’t work for everybody)We have submitted a pull request to the Sensei team (you can find it here: https://github.com/Automattic/sensei/pull/1502) and we have a logged issue with them on that topic.
You can find that here: https://github.com/Automattic/sensei/issues/1438At this point, we are mostly waiting for approval on their end, tweaking things as they request.
You are welcome to voice your concerns directly on the issue as well.Hopefully, this won’t take too long now, but it is slightly outside of our control as to when the pull request will finally be incorporated in their code.
Thank you for your understanding and we are sorry this is taking such a long time.
Best regards,
Geoff B.
