MemberGood afternoon Thomas,
Thank you for your efforts and for the files.
I took a look at them and it turns out there are quite a few other places where you will need to comment things out to get even closer to our look.
The best way to do this is by searching for the string “event” in the theme’s folder.Among other things:
- There are quite a few event related css files which you should rename
- There is another function to comment out in cmsms-theme-settings-general.php
- There are a couple of entries to remove in the /welfare/framework/function/ folder
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberGood afternoon Bob,
Thank you for writing back.
As a side note, we can totally continue this conversation in French if you prefer.Based on the information you have sent me, there could be a couple of reasons for the tickets not showing up.
- It is possible that your WordPress theme is conflicting with the display. If you can, try temporarily switching back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-fifteen to see if that helps
- I am noticing that you are using PHP 5.3.x on your server. I have seen some pretty unusual behaviours stemming from older PHP versions. I personally recommend 5.4+ ( WordPress actually suggests 5.6+, but 5.4 + is typically fine). If possible, I would recommend using a more recent version of PHP
- I noticed that you are using W3 Total Cache. Sometimes, certain settings of caching plugins do not play well with our plugins. If you can, try emptying all cache and temporarily disabling the plugin to see if that helps.
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood afternoon Stefan and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the tickets not displaying properly on your install.
I would love to help you with this topic.I believe the issue comes from the usage of WPML.
Unfortunately, we currently do not support Event Tickets Plus with WPML. The symptoms of that lack of support are exactly as you described them.We apologize for the inconvenience this is creating.
The good news however is that we are just about to release some major improvements to our support of WPML for the Events Calendar Pro (early October) which will open the door to supporting Event Tickets Plus shortly after. Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned!
It is possible to create a ticket via RVSP but its also not able to change this ticket to woo.
That is correct. Changing ticket types after their initial creation is not possible currently, but we are working on that very feature as we are speaking.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Best regards,

I would love to help you with this topic.Pretty sweet website by the way.
Your best bet would be to try to use similar images (at least in ratio).
But, you can also limit the width using some CSS..tribe-events-list .tribe-events-event-image {
max-width: 29%;
}Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

I would love to help you with this topic. There are a couple of ways to go about this:
- Create a template customization for the single event view. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works. Basically you can simply copy the basic view template and remove the Organizer details from there 🙂
- Use CSS to hide those details
.tribe-events-event-meta .tribe-events-meta-group-organizer {display:none !important}Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

We are sorry to hear that you cannot seem to add additional fields to capture attendee information on your site.
I would love to help you with this topic. It sounds like there might be some Javascript related issue that prevents these fields from being added properly.
The first thing I would recommend is to take a look at the console using Google Chrome’s developer tools while in the Edit Event screen to see if there is not an error message at play.
The next thing I would suggest is to go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes.

We are sorry to hear about the updates not showing up on your install.
I would love to help you with this topic. Before doing anything, I would recommend a database backup.
Here are a few recommendations that might help:
- Try updating the Events Calendar free plugin to it’s latest version and see if the update for Pro becomes available
- Try deactivating and reactivating Pro temporarily to see if that triggers the update notice.
If that still does not work, it is possible that there might be a conflict at play.
Let me know how that goes.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the ticket not showing up on the event page.
I would love to help you with this topic. As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Secondly, could you send me a screenshot of that ticket’s “Edit Ticket” screen.
As a side note, the ticket actually is not supposed to show on the page until the start date is met.
Best regards,
Geoff B.
