Good afternoon Horacio and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us and for your fantastic words.

We are sorry to hear about the RSVP attendee info not triggering while using the snippet.
I would love to help you with this topic.

I believe you might have more success by following my colleague Hunter’s approach to this: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/default-minmax-number-of-rsvp-tickets/

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Good afternoon Harold and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the layout not displaying correctly on your website.
I would love to help you with this topic.

First, if you have not already done so, I would recommend reading the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/genesis-theme-framework-integration/

Secondly, could you tell me specifically which aspect of the layout is not displaying properly for you ? (perhaps a screenshot or a URL of an example would be great).

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good afternoon Giuliana,

I apologize for the delay. I actually answered this yesterday, but somehow that got lost in cyberspace.

The short answer is yes. That would be possible.

However, that would require some template customization.
You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

If coding is not your strong suit, then you could hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.

Finally, I can totally see how this would be a cool feature. You can suggest it in our User Voice forum. That way other users can vote on it.

I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good afternoon Nicolo’,

    Thank you for writing back.

    1) isn’t there a more simple way to do it?

Actually, not really. But normally you should not have to worry about that.
The language files should always be up to date (which is something we are working at fixing).

In the meantime, here is a copy of the most up to date files in Italian: italian

You can simply upload them to the /wp-content/languages/plugins folder

I believe the string is translated correctly in that update.

    2) Maybe I did not explain well. I mean, how to post a shortcode like the one here, with more than one category.

    Thank you for clarifying that.

The correct syntax for that shorcode would be [tribe_events_list categories=”category1, category2″ limit=”3”]

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Hello Riccardo,

    Thank you for writing back.

To clarify, what I am saying is that a lot of the “auto-complete” plugins out there will not work properly with our plugins. This is because the way they “auto-complete” orders is different than what would happen if you did that manually.

In my experience, the snippet (https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/automatically-complete-orders/) works 100% of the time.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good afternoon Mark,

Yes, these are 89$ each for new licensees and the premium support that comes with it for 1 year.

As far as pricing is concerned, you will be glad to know that at the time of writing, we do offer reduced pricing at renewal.

We also offer different bundles: https://theeventscalendar.com/bundles/

But, unfortunately, there is no specific bundle available for only these 2 plugins.

I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

    Have a great day!

    Good afternoon Venkat,

I went ahead and dug deeper into this.
In order to do that, I re-read this thread carefully to make sure I was not missing anything.

I would like to break this down to clarify everything and make sure we tackle all of your needs.

I have created a post with some information and Added a ticket to it. But i cannot see the ticket information in the page. I am looking exactly like how the following page

I should have picked up on this, but there is one major difference between your ticket and the http://wpshindig.com/event/events-tickets-demo/ page.

You are using Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus standalone in a “normal” page or post.
The example found in the link above are using these plugins in combination with the Events Calendar plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/

This is why you are seeing much less information on your end. To get the same results, you will need to use the same combination of plugins.

If you look at this following page, you will find there is no image displaying

As it turns out, and this is my bad, the image in question is the ticket header image.
It will only display as part of tickets that are sent by email.

If you want to add this image on the single event screen, you will need to do so using a template override. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

Basically, you will want to change the /views/tickets/rsvp.php view.
More specifically, look for the following line

    foreach ( $tickets as $ticket ) {

Right after that you could add the following snippet (without the php tag): https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/3f9b95956aba898947c67b2b197239dc

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Thank you for your understanding Wim.

The good news is that this should make it in our 4.3.1 release (which is scheduled this week).

So hang tight as this is fixed!

    Have a great day!

    Hey Tom,

    Thank you for writing back.
I am sorry you feel this way about the support we provide.

I absolutely understand that it can be frustrating to not be able to solve issues quickly.

Perhaps this will come as a surprise to you, but we actually have the same goal as you: solve each and every issue as fast as possible.

That being said, as you can read in the following post, our turnaround time between answers is typically 24 to 48 hours (except on weekends where we are closed).

In order to be able to take this one step closer towards resolution, we would absolutely need at least one of the following:

    1. Your latest system information
    2. To know if the featured image option is available if you temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme (because there is a high chance this is a theme-based conflict)

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

Good evening James and welcome back!

    Thank you for writing back.

To be fully transparent, we did put in a great amount of work into this feature already.
In the process of doing so, we unfortunately bumped into some technical challenges.

To make a long story short, to get this to work properly, we will need to re-write other pieces of our code which in turn changed the size of the effort required.

All that to say that we are still going to go ahead with it, but it will unfortunately take more time than we would have liked. I unfortunately do not have a release date to offer for now.

In the meantime, the only thing we do have available that is “new” (but is not what you are looking for). We do have a snippet available that hides the ticket in the recurring events (except for the initial one).

I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we tackle this coding giant.

    Have a great day!

    Geoff B.
