Limit RSVP to 1 on Events Tickets Plus

I love your plugins – and I have 1 issue that I have 90% resolved based on solutions from your support forum. I found 3 places in your forums that show me how to limit the RSVP to 1. for example : https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/event-rsvps-or-tickets-can-we-limit-ticket-sales-or-rsvps-to-1-per-user/

I added the snippets and they work except that they don’t trigger the RSVP action to display the RSVP form that displays the form that appears once you increase the value from 0 to anything else. How can I trigger that action to display the form ( or always display the RSVP form). I attached a screenshot – I hope I explained this properly. Great work on the plugin!!
