I believe you will benefit from the suggestions in the following thread: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/remove-end-time-details-section-single-event-page/
To be fair, my modified file removed the end date, but not the time.
The good news is that I will update that file in that thread later tonight, so stay tuned!Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the issues you have been dealing with on your site. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic. As a side note, before we begin, you might want to upgrade the Events Calendar Pro to 4.3.2 in case that helps.
If that does not help, then the next logical step would be to test for conflicts (since that clearly looks like some type of conflict).
By the sound of it, it looks like there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:- A conflict with another plugin
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
- A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to <u>go through our testing for conflicts procedure</u> (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
If none of these tests are possible, could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.Hang in there as we try to figure out what is going on with your website.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. That is a great point. I have reached out to Dev about this.
For now, aside from hacking the code to change its logic, you are 100% correct about the required permissions. As such, I have opened a ticket to create additional capabilities which in turn would allow for better user role creation.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Also, in case you have not already read it, you might also be interested in the following post: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/admin-roles-and-permissions/

MemberGood afternoon Ross and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the error message you are prompted with while trying to setup split payments. I would love to help you with this topic.
As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
This way, I will be able to take a deeper look into things for you.
In the meantime, it looks like most of the error messages are about an email value missing for split payments (typically, that would be the organizer’s email account tied to Paypal).
Hang in there!

We are sorry to hear about the fact that a user was able to create a duplicate venue.

What constitutes a duplicate?
That is a great question. Typically, a duplicate has the same name as an existing entry as well as at least one other identical value (e.g.: the address).
Why aren’t user submitted venues subject to moderation the same as a post? And likewise for an organizer?
You are making a very interesting feature suggestion.
As you know, venues and organizers are closely tied to event creation.
If only the venue part and the organizer part were subject to moderation, the logical thing to do would be to not display the event. The reasoning behind this is that it makes no sense to publish an event that is missing these 2 crucial components. At least the majority of the time.Another way to go about this might be to add validation on new venues and organizers (with a lookup on existing entries), which in turn would prompt the user with a warning message.
In fact, you can suggest it or cast your vote on other features in our User Voice forum.
In the meantime, as you might know, you can simply set every Community submitted entry to default to “draft” (that is the whole event), not just venue and organizer.
It might not be ideal, but it will give you a chance to moderate things.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

We are sorry to hear about the countdown clock not working properly on your website.

Secondly, can you confirm that you are talking about the countdown found on the front page of your site ?
If so, it looks like this countdown is not using our code or at least it is using a very customized version of our countdown widget.
Would you mind, sending me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
