ParticipantSame problem as Matthew (30/10/2016)
I have enabled event views for all types:
This has enabled the menu to select all types.
However, all selections return the same view – the default one.Tried it with different themes (standard like Twenty Sixteen and the refered one, Franklin) but the result is the same.

ParticipantI went through Testing for Conflicts Procedure,
Tried to following steps but it still does not work. It only shows the selected default calendar view, doesn’t matter which one. I played around with the other Display settings, but the resultr remains the same.
-Deinstall all plugin but event calendar
-Install Theme Twenty Sixteen
-Empty CashI attached some screenshots

ParticipantRene,
In WordPress, go to Settings -> Permalinks and verify if the default “Plain” option is set. If so, try changing it to “Post name” and then select “Save Changes”. Now test the calendar by going to yoursite/events and see if the “View as” options work as intended.
Hope this helps.

ParticipantThanks Mathew,
But unfortunately the permalink solution did not work.

MemberGood evening Rene and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the issues you are dealing with.
I would love to help you with this topic.First and foremost, as per Matthew’s comment, please note that the calendar will not operate properly unless you use “pretty permalinks” (as opposed to the plain option). Could you leave it to that setting for now as we are troubleshooting this ?
Once that is done, make sure that you have distinct slugs defined under Events -> Settings -> General. The single event slug absolutely needs to be different from the main calendar slug.
Furthermore, since you are a the Events Calendar Pro customer, once you have done the above, can you tell me if trying to use a different view with a full-calendar shortcode works ? https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,
