    Hey Greg,

I am glad you are making good progress on these issues.
    Well played!

I do not have access to that specific sub site, but I would recommend looking for the translation of months in WPML’s string translation. Especially the ones coming from WordPress (e.g.: search for “November”)

In my experience, sometimes these strings are not translated on some installs.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

Good evening Nicolas and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about some of the functionalities not longer working on your website. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic.

    Kudos on finding a workaround.

Based on your description of the issue, I believe this might be caused either by a recent issue we have seen on some websites that use https.

To make a long story short, the latest version of our plugin tends to break when there is mixed content served on a page.

    This can be solved by:

    • Reviewing the way SSL is being configured at all levels. For example I am noticing that your license is set to http://www.fleamapket.com as opposed to https://www.fleamapket.com
    • Using a plugin to solve any mixed content issue found in the Developer tools console of Google Chrome: https://wordpress.org/plugins/ssl-insecure-content-fixer/

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

Good evening Shawn and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

The short answer is yes, it is possible to swap licenses between products of the same price.

However, I am noticing that you now have 2 products:

    1. the Events Calendar Pro (purchased in early November)
    2. Community events (purchased yesterday)

So I am not sure if your request is still valid.

The good news is you are fully entitled to a refund on the Events Calendar Pro if you want one since you are within 30 days of your purchase. To obtain the refund, you just need to follow the procedure described here.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

Good evening Michael and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your question.

In order to be able to place the calendar on a page with a shortcode, you will need a copy of our Events Calendar Pro plugin: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/

With that in hand, you can use the following:

    1. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/
    2. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good evening again Anne-Christine,

I took a look at your configuration and it seems that you are missing one crucial part of the correct setup with WPML: WPML translation management.

You can read about this here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-up-the-events-calendar-with-wpml/

Secondly, I took a look at the correct URL for the Chinese version of the calendar (http://pancosma-feedadditives.com/zh-hans/events) and it looks like there are no events created in Chinese either.

Depending on the way your WPML settings are set, this might also not be helping out.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Hey Walter,

Thank you for the theme files and the system info.

This allowed me to run some additional tests for you.

The good news is that I was able to run the Events Calendar Pro alongside you theme without any issue.

For that reason, I would like to offer to login to take a look (not to touch), with your permission.

    Hang in there!

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

Good evening Serge and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

I have 3 businesses that want to cross promote. Each one has events. They post their events on join web site.

This is the part I am unclear about. Do you mean that:

    1. Each business has it’s own website and posts events on these separate websites ?
    2. All 3 businesses post their events on the same website ?

For the purpose of this answer, I will imagine scenario 2: all 3 businesses are posting their events on the same website.

On the back end I as a manager can see all calendars on one screen (color assigned to each business)

For simplicity’s sake, each business could be represented by an event category: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/event-categories/

Once that is done, you could use a plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar-category-colors/ .

This would give each business it’s own colour in the calendar.

This also means you can filter the calendar by event category.
    This can be done by:

    1. Using our Tribe Filter bar plugin: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-filterbar/
    2. Using a URL that filters by event category

However, there will not be specific colours in the admin interface.
But you will still be able to filter by event category in the backend.

Then I need to be able to create “super events” or festivals combining some events from possibly all 3 businesses… Then it becomes a super event with registration, fees, etc.

Each event can be assigned multiple categories, so I believe this is how you could do that.

Furthermore, provided you use our Event Tickets Plus premium add-on (https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets-plus/), you can sell several types of tickets for each event: registration, fees, etc..

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Hey Detlex,

I am sorry you could not find what you are looking for.
Your language files should be found in the following location:

    1. /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/lang/
    2. /wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/lang/
    3. /wp-content/languages/ (there might be none here)
    4. /wp-content/languages/plugins/ (there might be none here)

Could you simply send me the po and mo files for german found in each of those locations ?

Secondly, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/ ?

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.
