GuestHere is my scenario
I have 3 businesses that want to cross promote. Each one has events. They post their events on join web site.
On the back end I as a manager can see all calendars on one screen (color assigned to each business)
Then I need to be able to create “super events” or festivals combining some events from possibly all 3 businesses.
Imagine it being 3 bars. Each bar has a theme night. I create a bar crawl combining them. Then it becomes a super event with registration, fees, etc.Can your system do this?

MemberGood evening Serge and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.I have 3 businesses that want to cross promote. Each one has events. They post their events on join web site.
This is the part I am unclear about. Do you mean that:
- Each business has it’s own website and posts events on these separate websites ?
- All 3 businesses post their events on the same website ?
For the purpose of this answer, I will imagine scenario 2: all 3 businesses are posting their events on the same website.
On the back end I as a manager can see all calendars on one screen (color assigned to each business)
For simplicity’s sake, each business could be represented by an event category: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/event-categories/
Once that is done, you could use a plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar-category-colors/ .
This would give each business it’s own colour in the calendar.
This also means you can filter the calendar by event category.
This can be done by:- Using our Tribe Filter bar plugin: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-filterbar/
- Using a URL that filters by event category
However, there will not be specific colours in the admin interface.
But you will still be able to filter by event category in the backend. Then I need to be able to create “super events” or festivals combining some events from possibly all 3 businesses… Then it becomes a super event with registration, fees, etc.
Each event can be assigned multiple categories, so I believe this is how you could do that.
Furthermore, provided you use our Event Tickets Plus premium add-on (https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets-plus/), you can sell several types of tickets for each event: registration, fees, etc..
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

GuestSorry, I do not think you understood the gist of my request. Posting is not the issue. That is simple.
The issue is the after. Combining events into a super-event.
Can we talk in person (skype, google hangout, etc)?

MemberHey Serge,
I am sorry my answer did not help out.
Based on your first name, I suspect you might speak French. If that is the case, we can totally continue this conversation in French if you prefer.
Unfortunately, our support does not allow for live interactions. With that in mind, I would still like to help you.
The issue is the after. Combining events into a super-event.
To be able to answer this one properly, would you mind answering my own question about this first ?

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
