MemberHello again Barbara,
As mentioned before, I would love to help you resolve this terrible error message.
Based on the system information you have sent, I am noticing a couple of things:
- Your server runs on a fairly old version of PHP. I would highly recommend updating it to 5.4+ when you get a chance. In fact WordPress recommends 5.6+. I have seen some pretty odd behaviours with older versions of PHP
- I am also noticing that your plugins are several versions behind (we are currently at 4.3.3). I would highly recommend updating all your plugins.
Finally, could you tell me if the event you are trying to edit is a recurring event ?
If so, after upgrading, I recommend running the following plugin: https://cl.ly/3A2v3621470qLet me know how that goes.
Best regards,

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about that awful error message you have been getting.
I would love to help you with this topic, but I notice you have a duplicate thread for this: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/urgent-fatal-error-message-memory-2/Therefore, I will close this one and continue the conversation in the other one.
Hang in there!

MemberGood afternoon Drew and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
It looks like you did the smart customer thing and took advantage of our Black Friday sale to complete the equivalent of the Bundle.
For the record, the answer to your question is usually yes as long as the swap is made within 30 days of the original purchase.
Have a great day!

MemberGood afternoon Darren and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the Google Map API giving you trouble. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic. With your permission, I would like to offer to log in to look (not to touch) so that we leave no stone unturned.
To make things more efficient, would you mind giving me some specific example (URLs) of problematic venues ?
Finally, could you tell me which web host your are using ? I am asking because certain webhosts will force the use of their shared Google Map API.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood afternoon Naomi and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the calendar showing the mobile version on PC screens.
I would love to help you with this topic.By the sound of it, it looks like there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:- A conflict with another plugin
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
- A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
More specifically, it seems like something (perhaps your theme or a customization) is forcing the breakpoint for the mobile view to kick in when it shouldn’t.
I would also recommend trying to force the breakpoint. You can read about it here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/#responsive
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberGood evening Sally and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. What you need to do is to add the code to your theme’s functions.php file.
If you are still not comfortable with that, could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can add it for you ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.I believe adding the snippet should meet all of your needs.
Does this override also happen if I buy the Events Tickets Plus plugin?
Yes, this override also happens with Event Tickets Plus, but the snippet will still work.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberHey Greg,
I believe my colleague Brook has done a wonderful job explaining this.
What I can tell you is that we are indeed pursuing several WPML enhancements as we are serious about taking compatibility to the next level.
Alas for now, this specific feature is not at the top of the priority list.
If I had to bet, I would say the batch duplication tool compatibility might be released before this one. But this is all speculation for now.The top of the priority list is currently occupied by Event Tickets & Event Tickets Plus compatibility (which we are working on).
So in short, we totally want to do it, but we have hard decisions to make when it comes to prioritizing these.
Have a great day!

You can actually pick and choose your favourite developer here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/
We do not act as intermediary on behalf of our customers, but they are very nice people, so don’t be shy. The feedback we have been getting from their work is excellent.
Best of luck with your project.

MemberGood evening Kristina,
I am sorry to see that this did not go away completely on your end.
I would like to dig deeper into this with you.
As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your latest system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Secondly, could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.In the meantime, as a workaround, you might want to change the default filter state to “closed”.
It’s not ideal, but it should buy you some time.Hang in there as we investigate this further.
Best regards,
Geoff B.
