    Hello again Greg,

    Let’s address these nasty issues

    On the French version of our site, all Month dividers/titles, are in English!

    This is a network install. The problem only appears on http://cpmr.org/fr/events

    the titles are still in the correct language on other sites in the network

    You seem to be on a roll here (kudos on that), because the Month dividers do appear in french when I visit your site.

    Let me know if there is anything else I can help with on this topic.

    In Spanish, they are not capitalised correctly.

    I am not sure why the Month titles are not being capitalized properly in Spanish.

    But, the fix here is pretty easy. Just some CSS does the trick

    .tribe-events-loop .tribe-events-list-separator-month {
    text-transform: capitalize !important;
    }

    Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good evening Greg,

    I am sorry to hear about that really odd bug. Yikes!

    That being said, as I went on your site, I am unable to replicate the issue.
    It seems to be working like a charm. When I click on “Calendrier”, I am taken to the expect page.

    So whatever you did, it worked! At least from where I stand.

    Would you mind confirming if the issue is indeed gone on your end ?

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good evening Detlex and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We are sorry to hear about the issue you are experiencing with German translation.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    Secondly, there might be a couple of things at play:

    1. It is possible that the language files packaged with the plugin might not always be up to date. If you are unsure, you can get their latest version here: http://translations.theeventscalendar.com/projects . Once you have them, you can simply overwrite the po and mo files found in the /lang/ folder. You can also suggest translation corrections there.
    2. In your specific case, there are 2 po files: one for the Events Calendar and the other for the Events Calendar Pro. You might need to search both.

    Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Hey Shannon,

    Sorry about that.
    My reply turned to “private” automatically after your own.

    And as you found out, you cannot read private replies unless you are the one who started the thread.

    I just made it public.

    Good evening Robert and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    You are right, officially our importers do not support WPML yet: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wpml-support/

    But, we are working on that. Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned!

    In the meantime, there might be a couple of workarounds:

    1. You could manually make a duplicate of each event imported using the “Duplicate” WPML button in each event.
    2. You could try the batch duplicating tool from WPML: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/batch-duplicating-using-the-translation-dashboard/ , but this is not officially supported and you might have to reassign the venues and organizers manually

    Whatever you do, I would recommend a good backup before hand (mostly the database) or better yet to run these tests on a staging environment.

    I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good evening Walter,

    Thank you for doing those tests.
    I am sorry that there seems to be a conflict with your theme.

    But, that does not necessarily mean that you can’t use your theme.

    I would like to run some tests for you.

    Could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.

    Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
    This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.

    Secondly,  as a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    Secondly, could you tell me which script you are referring to ?

    The reason I am asking is because there is no link to the script in question in your post 🙂

    Good evening Dave and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us and for providing other examples of similar bugs.

    We are sorry to hear about this issue creeping up on you.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    Looking at your website’s console, there seems to be some mixed content warning messages.
    The first thing I would recommend is installing and configuring the following plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/ssl-insecure-content-fixer/

    You might also need to review how https is declared / configured on your site.
    But for now, the issue seems to be mostly caused by your site’s logo being over http and not https.

    Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good evening Bruno and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We are sorry to hear about the selection bar displaying under the filter bar on your installation.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    I just went to http://solothurner-choere.ch.lava.ch-meta.net/events/ and it seems like you have moved the filter bar under the search bar. In other words I am unable to see the issue for now.

    Can you tell me if you fixed this already ?

    If not, as a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    Good afternoon Kristian,

    I installed both your theme and your files on my test site.
    Unfortunately, I was not able to reproduce your specific issue.

    On my end, every string is properly translated on the Community events page.

    Because of that, I looked really carefully at your screenshot once again.
    I believe I know why certain strings are not translated in there.

    The reason is simple. These untranslated strings (e.g.: add other rule) are actually not coming from the Community Events translation file, but rather from the translation files of the Events Calendar and the Events Calendar Pro.

    You will find both of them in the respective /lang/ folder of the plugins (unless you have placed them in the /wp-content/languages/plugins/ folder).

    Either way, you will need to make sure that these files are updated or downloaded from Glotpress.

    Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good day Bobby,

    I followed up on this for you and here are my findings:

    You stumbled upon a quite known issue with wp filters and actions that is: infinite loop of save; to avoid that we, as many other devs, hack the action loop to remove/re-add the possible sources and that might break, as in this case, some code downstream. Code is worth thousands words: just use TEC own hook:

    /**
    * Plugin Name: GSync on save
    * Plugin URI: PLUGIN SITE HERE
    * Description: PLUGIN DESCRIPTION HERE
    * Author: YOUR NAME HERE
    * Author URI: YOUR SITE HERE
    * Text Domain: save-post
    * Domain Path: /languages
    * Version: 0.1.0
    *
    * @package GSync
    */

    add_action( ‘tribe_events_update_meta’, ‘syncWithGoogleCalendar’, 10, 1 );
    add_action( ‘save_post’, ‘syncWithGoogleCalendar’, 1000, 1 );

    function syncWithGoogleCalendar( $id ) {
    $post = get_post( $id );

    if ( ! tribe_is_recurring_event( $id ) ) {
    return;
    }

    $master = $post->post_parent == 0 ? ‘master’ : ‘child’;

    // sudo sync
    error_log( sprintf( ‘Syncing post [%d] – recurrence %s’, $id, $master ) );
    }

    Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good afternoon James,

    I went ahead and ran a bunch of tests on my end with:

    1. The latest version of our plugins
    2. With and without the code snippet
    3. WooCommerce 2.6.8
    4. WooCommerce Memberships 1.5.4

    In all instances I was unfortunately unable to reproduce the bug.

    This leads me to believe that the issue might be coming from somewhere else.
    I would like to help you find out what is causing this.
