Is there an overview or examples anywhere here on how to enter a single, recurring event that takes place on irregular days and may have two or more occurrences on on one day?

    For example:

A single play with a three week run:

Opening Week: Thursday, Friday and Saturday 8pm, Sunday 2pm Matinee and 8pm show.
Second Week: Thursday, Friday 8pm, Saturday 2pm and 8pm, Sunday 2pm
Third Week: Friday, Saturday 8pm, Sunday 2pm

I’ve spent a few hours on this and can’t figure out how to do it. I can’t be the first.

    Thanks!

Good evening Richard and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

If you have not already done so, I would highly recommend reading the following primer on recurring events: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-recurring-events/

When setting up irregular rules properly, you will have to separate what is truly recurring from what is a one time thing.

As for your specific example, I believe the rules should look something like the following screenshot. The starting Thursday is 2016-11-24 in this case:

    irregular

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!
