December 17, 2016 at 12:50 pm in reply to: Thumbnail image dimensions changed on Monthly Event Tooltip after plugin upgrade #1207388Geoff B.
MemberGood afternoon Susannah,
Thank you for writing back.
I believe I miscommunicated what I meant. My apologies.
You are right. I can totally see that HTML being generated on your site.
However, using a similar setup to yours, I still get thumbnails that are 150×150.So I am pretty confident that the issue comes from somewhere else.
I would be happy to work with you to find out where it is coming from. With that in mind, can you tell me what happens
- if you try to delete one of the featured images and put it back ?
- if you temporarily switch back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen ?
- try running the suggested plugin above ?
Have a good weekend,

MemberBonjour Maxime,

MemberHey Rob,
Thank you for answering my questions.
I am thinking that perhaps there could be something we need to check at the server configuration level. For testing purposes, would you mind setting your PHP memory limit to at least 96MB per website ?
Also, as promised, I went ahead and ran your situation by our resident support wizard.
Here is what he had to say:
– Normally the plugins should totally work on Windows as long as you are running Apache.
– It would be helpful to see the specific error message, rather than just the generic “500” once. This should be located in the logs. Please turn on WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG. Also setup IIS to log things (if it isn’t already, it will by default). Then try regenerating the 500 error by updating. What does the PHP error log, IIS log, and WordPress log show around this time? Could he privately share them with us. The PHP error log and IIS one might be the same on his system, or they might be logged separately. He may need to consult his server admin to find the PHP error log.
– What is the full directory path to The Events calendar? It will be something like “C:/Sites/example.com/pub_html/…”.
– Did incremental backups yield any result ?

MemberGood evening Arnau,
Thank you for writing back.
But when i select the next month in the calendar, all turns into english language.
Actually, on my end, when I go to the next month, everything displays in Catalan.
Did you change anything ?In the calendar page, i cannot see the list, month, week, day, map, photo sections.
This also seems to have been fixed. I see the different views available when I visit your site.
Other thing is that the datas that are from the next year, The Events Calendar shows it like that:
12 12UTC gener 12UTCdijous 2017 @ 17:15 – 18:15
That is a good point, we need to look into that.
The first thing I would recommend is to switch to city-based timezone under Settings > General under your WordPress admin (Paris would be a good choice, but any city in the same timezone as you is fine).
Secondly, you might have to play around with your settings under Events -> Settings -> Display (look for Date format settings).
Between those 2 settings, you should be able to get the date format you are looking for.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberGood evening Pete and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions. We operate sporting events and have a significant number of people who purchase tickets at our “box office” at the venue immediately before the events begin. I’d like to know if ET+ can accommodate this situation directly, or if it will require another plugin.
That is a great question. The short answer is it depends on the details of your process.
But, at a high-level, by default, event tickets are simple virtual non-visible in the catalog WooCommerce products.
If you wish to make them visible in the catalog, you could use the following snippet: https://gist.github.com/jesseeproductions/5768685acc4cd48cdd81
So integration with WooCommerce POS should work as long as you don’t have additional attendee information to gather (which only works on the actual event page for now).
If you do want to capture additional attendee information, I would recommend using a plugin such as: https://codecanyon.net/item/shop-as-customer-for-woocommerce/7043722 instead.
Let me know if that helps.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.I have a multisite 8 microsits (subsites). I have one main home site that I want to use the events calendar Pro on. I bought a single license. Only have the Events Calendar Pro activated on the one site, and I am receiving this message in the License Key Area
I would recommend reading the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/multisite-license/
I believe it should answer all of your questions.
Basically, it is totally possible to use a personal license on a multi-site setup. However, you will need to make sure the plugin is installed at a local level, not a network level.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the challenge you are facing while trying to clone events.
I would love to help you with this topic.I am not familiar with the specific duplication plugin you are using, but I have a couple of pointers for you:
- Events are actually not pages. They are a custom post type.
- Any plugin that supports duplication of custom post types should work.
- There is even a third-party plugin made just for events! https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicate-tec-event/
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Edward,
Thank you for writing back.
Actually, just to clarify, my offer is to take a look at your theme and get a sense of why our events are not showing up in your blog loop.
For that purpose, would it be possible to get a copy of the Shuffle theme ?
Additionally, if you have questions while using the themer’s guide, I will gladly assist you.
Have a good weekend,

MemberGood afternoon Ash and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. After viewing the account we saw that the plugins key has now expired, yet to our knowledge, it has not been over the allotted time allocated for when we purchased the plugin.
I went ahead and checked your orders.
As it turns out, you have made 3 separate order:
- The order for WooCommerce Tickets (which was then converted into Event Tickets Plus) was placed on 2015-08-17, as such your license has expired on 2016-08-17
- The order for Community Events was placed on 2015-09-11. Your license for it expired on 2016-09-11
- The order for the Events Calendar Pro was placed on 2016-07-06. This license is still good until 2017-07-06
So in other words, it is normal that your Event Tickets Plus is no longer active.
You can simply renew that license at your convenience. Also, we’ve noticed that the CSV importer for tickets has gone since the update. Is there an alternative way around this and may we ask what the reason was for disabling this function?
Actually, the functionality is still there as long as you have a valid Event Tickets Plus license.
To solve this, you could:
- Renew your Event Tickets Plus license
- Downgrade your the Events Calendar plugin so that it matches the Event Tickets Plus version you had when your license expired.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberHey Geoffrey,
Thank you for writing back.
Keep me posted on how that goes with your specific theme.
As a side note, some users have managed to bypass this issue by simply changing the “Events Template” option under Events -> Settings -> Display.
You might want to give this a shot.

MemberGood afternoon Devon,
It looks like the event is no longer visible on your website.
In any case, I find that your best bet is to look up the venue on Google Maps and reuse the exact same address for better results.
For example, according to Google, the correct address for this venue is <span class=”section-info-text”>Opp Madiwala Police Station, Hosur Main Road, Koramangala, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560068, India</span>
Something else I am noticing is that it looks like you have a Google Maps error message in the Google Chrome Developer tools: You have included the Google Maps API multiple times on this page. This may cause unexpected errors
Perhaps that is related to the issue at hand ?
and one thing also why latitude+longitude option is not showing in my edit venue screen?
That is a great question.
As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
