    Hello,

Looking for some guidance on how ET+ handles walk-up ticket sales. We operate sporting events and have a significant number of people who purchase tickets at our “box office” at the venue immediately before the events begin. I’d like to know if ET+ can accommodate this situation directly, or if it will require another plugin.

We would operate ET+ in conjunction with WooCommerce. We are planning to install WooCommerce POS to handle point-of-sale merchandise sales, and if ET+ does not handle walk-up ticket sales on its own, I am wondering if tickets are treated like physical products we would sell on-site… this would allow us to sell tickets using the WooCommerce POS functionality, as we would with t-shirts or hats or etc.

Very excited to get your products purchased and installed, thank you for advice or information you can provide.

    Pete

Good evening Pete and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

That is a great question. The short answer is it depends on the details of your process.

But, at a high-level, by default, event tickets are simple virtual non-visible in the catalog WooCommerce products.

If you wish to make them visible in the catalog, you could use the following snippet: https://gist.github.com/jesseeproductions/5768685acc4cd48cdd81

So integration with WooCommerce POS should work as long as you don’t have additional attendee information to gather (which only works on the actual event page for now).

If you do want to capture additional attendee information, I would recommend using a plugin such as: https://codecanyon.net/item/shop-as-customer-for-woocommerce/7043722 instead.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a good weekend,

    Geoff B.

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
