    Bonsoir Audrey,

    Geoff B.

    Good evening Tic Tac,

    Thank you for writing back.

You are right, adding this link to the Woo “My orders” screen would be fantastic.

I have just opened an improvement ticket for this extension.

Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point.
But stay tuned, you will be contacted when the update is released.

    Have a great day!

    Good afternoon Johanne,

Thank you for running those tests.
For good measure I went on your site and it looks like some new mixed content (images from the last couple of years) is showing up on your home page.

You might have to review the URL of the images that feed the slider as a starting point.

I am glad you found a temporary workaround.

If you get the chance, it would be nice to see what happens with another email address (for testing purposes).

If that still does not work out, it looks like there is some type of conflict at play.
    This is usually because of:

    1. A conflict with another plugin
    2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
    3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating

A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.

The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.

Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:

    1. Make a backup of your database
    2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)

Let me know what you find out.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good afternoon Abby,

I am glad the snippet helped!

I have not heard reports of issues with W3 Total Cache (aside from CSS related ones) recently, but I will keep an eye out.

I guess, it all depends on Total Cache’s settings. You might want to experiment with them or, perhaps consider a premium caching solution. I know a lot of our customers are really happy with WP Rocket.

For now, I am going to close this thread.

    Good evening Modar,

Just a quick note to let you know that we are looking into this.

Hang in there as we continue to pinpoint this.

Good evening Brent and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the issue you have encountered with our Try to set the status of new ticket orders to “complete” automatically being too aggressive. We apologize for the inconvenience.

I would love to help you with this topic.
If you have not done so already, I would recommend following Modar’s suggestion and unchecking that box.

At least short term, that should allow you to regain control of your tickets.

We are currently looking into this to pinpoint the cause of the issue.

Thank you for your patience as we do that.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good evening Math,

Good news! The dev in charge of the extension will proceed with the fix 🙂

I will relay your Print ticket suggestion as well.

As for your question about Community tickets, the short answer is yes.
You can tweak pretty much anything you want about these views.

    You can either:

    1. Perform a template customization of that view. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
    2. Use CSS to hide the unwanted buttons.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good evening Jacob,

Thank you for writing back and clarifying what is wrong.
In the meantime, I am glad the CSS rule helps make the calendar look better.

If you look on the current date, you will see that events from the previous weeks / days also appear on this.

I believe this is caused by how your events were created.

You see, currently you are repeating 1 large event that lasts from December 1st until June 1st.

As such, the calendar perceives that large event as still “in progress”. This is why it gets displayed on today’s calendar.

If I am right, the appropriate way to do this would be an original event that is from December 3, 2016 @ 5:30 pm until December 3, 2016 @ 6:30 pm.

From there, you add recurring event rules (now called event series) WITH an end date for each rule.

This way you will have several 1 hour events repeating as opposed to 1 very large one repeating.
This should fix the display in the calendar views as well.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good evening Karl,

Thank you for writing back and running that test.
I am sorry that did not help.

jQuery is normally defined automatically. Unless it is disabled manually or by the interaction with something else on your site.

By the sound of it, it looks like there is some type of conflict at play causing some kind of conflict with jQuery.

    1. Make a backup of your database
    2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)

I realize this is time consuming, but it should enable us to pinpoint what the issue is.

Let me know how that goes.

Good evening Kim and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

I am sorry that we were not able to provide you with a better solution last time you reached out to us.

However, some time has passed since then and perhaps our newest features could at least help you reach parts of your goal ?

can I have a calendar view on the chosen page where customers can click on the date they want and have the option to choose from 2 different times.

You can now embed both full calendars AND single events on any normal page or custom post type with our shortcodes.

You can read about this here:

    1. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/
    2. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-single-events-tribe_event_inline-shortcode/

This would allow you to embed 2 events/times on a chosen page.

Alternatively, you could have an all-day event but use the tickets to represent times.

    I.e.: ticket #1 = 3pm , ticket #2 = 4pm

Also is there an option to limit the amount of bookings in one day – ie if the 2 person slot is taken then 1 person cannot be added to the same time slot.

This part would have to be managed at the WooCommerce level (either through a plugin or a snippet). One idea would be to have 2 ticket products for each time where product #1 can only be purchased with a quantity of 2.

If coding is not really your thing, you could hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.

Finally, another option would be to see if Eventbrite tickets integration could not accomplish what you are looking for.

With this in mind would it be possible for a refund of the product as it is not of any use to the web build.

The good news is you are fully entitled to a refund if you want one since you are within 30 days of your purchase (considering we were closed for the holidays). To obtain the refund, you just need to follow the procedure described here.

Please ensure you reference this thread in your request.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good evening Yves,

    Thank you for writing back.

At this point I do not believe that another plugin is interfering with the images.
This is typically caused by one of 2 things:

    1. The size settings for images found under Setting > Media
    2. Something in the theme / child theme

Before rebuilding the thumbnails, I would recommend adding a new copy of that image now that your media settings are in order.

This should only impact newly added images. If it works, then you can use a plugin to rebuild your thumbnails.

If it does not work, after a database / theme settings backup, could you temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if that helps ?

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.
