ParticipantOur website just started emailing people tickets when they purchase an event – that was an option we always had disabled, but it recently became enabled and there’s no option to disable it.
How do we disable it and prevent it from sending out tickets?

MemberGood afternoon Abby and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the tickets being sent to your customers unintentionally.
I would love to help you with this topic. There are a couple of ways you can change that:
- Head over to Events -> Settings -> Tickets and make sure the “Try to set the status of new ticket orders to “complete” automatically” is not checked.
- You can block them from being sent altogether using the following snippet (in your theme’s functions.php): https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/67488cc3d5dda12a9e252e16e39191f4
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

ParticipantThe checkbox was already unchecked – but adding that code seems to have fixed it – Tickets now shows up as a disabled email in WooCommerce settings.

ParticipantOn a whim, I disabled the caching plugin (W3 Total Cache) & now it seems to be working again.
Have you seen any issues with W3 Total Cache and Event Tickets Plus attendee information?
Thanks,

MemberGood afternoon Abby,
I am glad the snippet helped!
I have not heard reports of issues with W3 Total Cache (aside from CSS related ones) recently, but I will keep an eye out.
I guess, it all depends on Total Cache’s settings. You might want to experiment with them or, perhaps consider a premium caching solution. I know a lot of our customers are really happy with WP Rocket.
For now, I am going to close this thread.
You are welcome back in our support forums any time 🙂Have a great week!

MemberHi There!
Just wanted to share with you that a new release of out plugins is out, where we included a considerable change in how our plugins assets are loaded and we believe it should improve and clear the conflicts described here with the W3 Total Cache plugin.
Find out more about this release → https://theeventscalendar.com/maintenance-release-for-the-week-29-july-2018/
As always, we suggest to setup a dev/staging site so you can make all plugin updates without disrupting the live site.
Please update the plugins and don’t hesitate to open a new topic if anything comes up.
Best,
Victor -
