    Good evening,

I am not sure if I am getting this correctly, but it looks like Gergana and Russell are the same person 🙂

If that is the case. Kudos on finding that plugin and for sharing it!

If not, Russell, I would recommend taking a look at Gergana’s recommendation.

    Have a great weekend!

    Good evening Damien,

I am sorry this did not work as intended!

I am just noticing that your Event Tickets Plus does not seem to be up to date.
Not that this is necessarily related, but it’s better to have matching version of Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus.

Secondly, could you send me screenshots of the Edit Event and Edit Ticket(s) screens for a sample event on your website.

Finally, could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.

Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.

Hang in there as we investigate this together.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good evening Thomas,

    Thank you for writing back.
I am sorry my recommendation did not help.

It looks like your page’s header is not being refreshed when you navigate between months.

    Good evening Neil,

Thank you for answering those questions and for the screenshots.

I am glad we will soon be able to resolve at least the Google Maps link part of the issue.
I am also glad that the duplicate glitch only impacts the backend.

I am sorry and puzzled that the Merge duplicate venue button does not show up.
Interestingly enough, that venue does not seem to be created or be part of any of the events imported on my test site using the same URL as you.

Could you share the URLs of the events that contain that venue ?

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good evening Tomonori,

    Thank you for writing back.

To become an expert translator of our plugins, I would recommend reading these 2 articles:

    1. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/how-to-override-plugin-language-files/
    2. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/changing-the-language-on-your-calendar/

Additionally, the most recent version of all translation files for our plugins is always found here: http://translations.theeventscalendar.com/projects

To achieve your goal, you will need to open up the language files of our free the Events Calendar plugin, of our the Events Calendar Pro plugin and of our Community Events plugin.

Using Poedit, you can simply search for any string you want to translate in those files and make your own adjustments.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good evening Steve,

I am glad you found the culprit. Kudos on that and thank you for sharing your finding!

In all fairness, it might be a simple matter of configuring WP Super Cache differently.
I do not know for sure, but it might be a good question for their support team.

I know a lot of our customers are really happy with WP Rocket in case that helps.

I have another question. What QR scanner app should we use for scanning our tickets?

That is a great question. We actually have received the suggestion to build our own apps:

Any QR scanner app that lets you login to your site with the appropriate role should work great.
Most QR scanner/reader apps offer those features.

Personally, I have successfully used the QR reader app on my iPhone.

So I guess the answer is the app that is the most appealing to you.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,

    Good evening Hans-Gerd,

    Thank you for writing back.

Actually, you will be glad to know that Andras and I are working jointly on the language threads.

In this specific case, it looks like the Community Events pot file might not be up to date.

We will run some additional tests on this tomorrow.

As for closing this ticket, this is totally up to you.

We typically recommend separate threads for 3 reasons:

    1. To make sure we provide personalized support
    2. To be able to escalate issues based on the number of reported threads
    3. To make sure we don’t bundle issues that are actually different

In this case, I believe none of these conditions are met.
So I guess, if Marcus is cool with having you in the conversation, why not ? 🙂

    Have a great day!

    Good evening Rosalyn,

    Thank you for writing back.

I am not sure if you tried to send a screen grab along with your example URL.
If you did, it looks like it got lost somewhere in the process unfortunately.

Could you try resending that screen grab via a link to Dropbox or Google Drive perhaps ?

In any case, I went ahead and visited the example URL you just gave me and the maps displays on my end.

Is it possible you have changed something since then ? Or perhaps, the WP engine cache has been refreshed ?

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Salutations,
    Geoff B.

    Good evening Russell,

    Thank you for writing back.

In that case, my recommendation still stands: a WooCommerce plugin that adds the ability to control quantity rules at a product level.

There are several great plugins out there to add rules to how products can be purchased.

The example I provided is just one of many (free and premium plugins).
You might have to try a few to find the one you like better.

But, I am 100% sure you can do exactly what you are looking for.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good evening Valentina,

Thank you for writing back and for trying to provide the system information.

Unfortunately, it looks like the system information cannot be retrieved on our end.

It looks like you might need to manually copy-paste it in a private reply.

As for the po files, I would recommend reading the following article on that very topic: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/how-to-override-plugin-language-files/

Let me know how that goes.

    Good evening Angela,

I am super stoked that the procedure helped you get the upgrade done!

Let’s work on fixing the license key issue.

I would recommend reading the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-your-license-keys/

You might want to try to disconnect and reconnect the license key.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!
