    Hi

I use Event Tickets Plus with WooCommerce.

    1. I am selling tickets to an event, but there is a minimum quantity requirement of 4. How do I set this up ?

Next, I want to be able to give customers who have previously bought tickets the ability to add tickets to their order, whether it be 1 or 100. Bearing in mind, point 1, how would I set this up ?

I am happy to purchase an extension if required. I just need advice on how to achieve this please.

The website is in local dev right now but I need to launch in about a week so this is URGENT. Thank you.

    Hello again Russell,

I will gladly answer your questions.

    1. I am selling tickets to an event, but there is a minimum quantity requirement of 4. How do I set this up ?

The easiest way to do this would be via a WooCommerce third-party plugin that let’s you specify quantity rules for every product (including tickets). Here’s one of them (untested): https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-incremental-product-quantities/

Next, I want to be able to give customers who have previously bought tickets the ability to add tickets to their order, whether it be 1 or 100. Bearing in mind, point 1, how would I set this up ?

I am unfortunately unclear on what you mean by that.

    Do you mean:

    1. The quantity requirement of minimum 4 would fall for these customers ?
    2. You would want tickets added to a past order ?

    Could you clarify ?

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Hi

    Thanks for that info.

So, I want to be able to set a minimum quantity allowed to 4. However once someone has purchased 4 or more tickets I want them to be allowed to purchase individual tickets. But until the have purchased 4 they would not be allowed to do so.

    Kind Regards,

    Russell Scott

A workaround could be a coupon code which would bypass the minimum quantity rule of course.

    Good evening Russell,

    Thank you for writing back.

In that case, my recommendation still stands: a WooCommerce plugin that adds the ability to control quantity rules at a product level.

There are several great plugins out there to add rules to how products can be purchased.

The example I provided is just one of many (free and premium plugins).
You might have to try a few to find the one you like better.

But, I am 100% sure you can do exactly what you are looking for.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good evening,

I am not sure if I am getting this correctly, but it looks like Gergana and Russell are the same person 🙂

If that is the case. Kudos on finding that plugin and for sharing it!

If not, Russell, I would recommend taking a look at Gergana’s recommendation.

    Have a great weekend!
