Good afternoon Brent and welcome back!

First off, I would like to apologize for the delay answering.
We are currently experiencing a higher level of requests than usual.

Please rest assured that we are working hard at correcting this situation.
We appreciate your patience while we try to normalize things.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

There are two ways to achieve this:

    1. By creating a custom view template for the single event view (just removing that section altogether). You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
    2. By using CSS

Try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:

    .single .tribe-events-meta-group-details {display: none !important}

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

I would love to help you with this topic.

I want my organisers to be able to input times on US Timezones instead of UTC. How can I make that happen?

Normally, this follows your WordPress setting for timezone.
You might want to read the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/working-with-timezones/

Is there any way I can change the verbiage inside the add ticket page (Like I want to it to say add tournaments instead of events and so on)

    Absolutely.

You could apply the following snippet in the functions.php file of your theme (without the PHP tag at the top): https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/8c94dbcd36332525e4b42a7d74378596

But first to be extra safe, before making any changes to your functions.php file, you should make a backup of that file.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

We are sorry to hear about the images not showing up on your single event view.
I would love to help you with this topic.

This seems to be caused either by one of the following: something in your theme, a setting under Events -> Settings -> Display or a plugin conflict

    Try the following:

    1. Temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists
    2. Head over to Events -> Settings -> Display and try different settings for Events Template
    3. Instead of using a gallery plugin, try using normal images to see if that works

Let me know how that goes.

Good evening Sean and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

show an event (a training course) and on that same page show all of the available days that the course is on.

If I understand correctly, only the single event view would be used (not the month or list view). Can you confirm ?

They just want a single page to show the event detail and then show a list of available dates.

In that case, you could simply use the Events Calendar Pro recurring events feature and display the recurrences of the events in the single event view.

The rest of the answer will depend on your answer to the first question.

    Have a great day!

As you have mentioned ticket support is not yet officially available: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wpml-support/

Just to set expectations, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues. We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.

This feature is scheduled to be released later this year.

In the meantime, you could get it to partially work, but this is unsupported.

To achieve that, you will need:

    1. WooCommerce multilingual
    2. Some manual intervention

After creating the ticket AND saving the event, head over to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting page.

Once you are there, you should see several cleanup buttons. I would recommend:

    1. Clearing WPML cache
    2. Using the button that forces language assignment to items (which is what is creating the issue). This can also be accomplished by deactivating and reactivating WPML.

Your ticket will now magically appear.

The only downside is that the tickets you create in other languages are not really translations of the initial ticket. They are completely independent new tickets.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    recurring meetings, week view

These can all be achieved via our the Events Calendar Pro premium add-on: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/

google maps for location, agenda, day, month views, ICS sharing for Outlook, Google and Apple

These features are part of our free the Events Calendar plugin. They are also included while working with the Pro version, of course.

Let me know if that helps.

Thanks so much for getting in touch!

I’m afraid that we’re not equipped to provide technical support for the Events Calendars users here in our pre-sales forum.

But, the good news is that you are still welcome to consult this forum and all our premium forums to your liking and browse it for solutions, snippets and tutorials.

We’d be more than happy to assist you at one of the following locations:

With that in mind, it sounds like you are experiencing a conflict.

By the sound of it, it looks like there is some type of conflict at play.
    This is usually because of:

    1. A conflict with another plugin
    2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
    3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating

When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.

A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.

The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure

Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows you to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:

    1. Make a backup of your database
    2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)

    Have a great day!

Is the Events Calendar easily adaptable for Portuguese?

Yes. In fact, translations are pretty advanced for the plugin already.

I highly recommend reading the two following articles on translation:

You can see the status of our translations here: http://translations.theeventscalendar.com/projects/

Additionally our plugins can work with either WPML or Polylang to various degrees.

if i buy the event plus do i need for subscriptions ?

Buying Event Tickets Plus will get you one year of updates and premium support for the premium add-on.

After one year, the add-on will still work, but you will most likely need to “freeze your versions” ( WooCommerce, WordPress, our plugins) to avoid breakage.

is that coming with unlimited event posting and ticketing with bar code?

Yes both of these features are included.

do i need to buy license key from trib ?

The license key comes with the purchase of the add-on. After one year the license key will expire (until it is renewed).

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Is there a way to hide the event title and date from the top of the event.

    Yes.
You can two this in one of two ways:

    1. Create a custom view template for the single event view. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
    2. Use CSS to hide the unwanted info

Try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:

    .single-tribe_events .tribe-events-single-event-title, . single .tribe-events-schedule {display: none !important;}

Let me know how that goes.
