    Good evening Gowtham,

I am super stoked to hear that this worked for you.

I believe you will love the following extension: https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/select-which-ticket-types-display-ticket-editor/

Also, Is it possible to add an instructions list on top of only the create event page so that it can be clear for the users (The additional HTML appends the instructions to every event page).

There are two ways to achieve this:

    1. Using the additional HTML field (as you suggested) but hiding that HTML on other pages using CSS
    2. Creating a template override (custom view) for the create event page. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good evening David,

I am sorry to hear that this not worked as expected.

By the sound of it, it looks like there is some type of conflict at play.
    This is usually because of:

    1. A conflict with another plugin
    2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
    3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating

When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.

A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.

The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.

Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:

    1. Make a backup of your database
    2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)

Additionally, could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.

Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.

Let me know how that goes.

    Good evening and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

We used to have a little plugin that allowed to edit attendee data.
Unfortunately that plugin broke after an update of our Event Tickets Plus plugin last fall.

We are in the process of repairing it and will let you know as soon as it’s ready.

In the meantime, you have 3 options:

    1. Edit the info straight in the database (not great and definitely do a backup first)
    2. Cancel the ticket and create a new one (still not awesome)
    3. Roll back our plugins to get the attendee editor to work again

I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have unfortunately.

    Hang in there!

Good evening Ruth and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

You will need 1 license per site for this to work properly.
The cheapest way to achieve this is to get a business license that lets you install the plugin on up to 3 sites while costing less than 2 licenses.

As a side note, if you are indeed using 2 identical sites, you might want to grab a copy of Event Aggregator: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/event-aggregator/

This lets you import events from another site automatically (which should save you a lot of entry time).

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

Good evening Gianpiero and welcome back!

Major kudos on figuring things out.

We actually encourage customization of our plugins (just as long as you make a backup in case things go south).

The most popular ways to achieve this are:

    1. Template overrides. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
    2. Using functions (tons of snippets in our forums)
    3. Using extensions: https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions

You are welcome back in our support forums any time 🙂

For now, I am going to close this thread.

    Have a great week!

Good evening Craig and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
Yikes! That is not cool at all!

Fortunately, it seems that this is only a temporary blip.
    Can you try:

    1. Switching to a private browsing window to see if that helps ?
    2. Try a different browser?

If none of this work, would you mind telling which OS you are using (and which version) ?

Let me know how that goes.

Good evening Ivan and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

The simplest way to achieve this is to create a custom version of the single event view and add a sidebar call in it.

You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Good evening Tim and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the display of tickets not being to your liking.
I would love to help you with this topic.

In order to gain full power on your site’s look and feel, I would highly recommend reading the following articles:

Keep in mind that each theme is a bit different, so the best approach to achieve the look you are after may also vary.

By taking a quick look at your page, it appears that you are using a fully customized presentation of tickets. In other words, this is not something that is built-in, but rather comes from your WordPress theme.

This means that you have three ways to tackle this:

    1. Reach out to the theme developer
    2. Remove the customizations and revert to our default display of tickets (https://wpshindig.com/event/event-tickets-demo/)
    3. Change the size of elements with CSS

Let me know which approach suits you better.

    Have a great day!

Good evening Leslie and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

What is going on is that you actually need to manually download, install and activate the Events Calendar Pro plugin on top of the Events Calendar plugin.

You can follow these instructions for a smoother experience: http://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/new-user-primer-the-events-calendar-and-events-calendar-pro/

Let me know how that goes.

Good evening Travis and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Your timing is pretty good as another customer just came up with a snippet to add to single-event.php today to display recurring events: https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/984d0f1c269b22dc38d632975d0c46b2

If that does not work for you, could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
