Hello, i use WPML and i created a recurrent event following the steps you have in this webpage:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/creating-translations-for-events-using-wpml/
And it does not work:
When i create an event in the secondary language, the permalink seems to be the same than the main language
Instead of this:
https://vidameva.cat/es/taller/baby-steps/2017-12-02/
the permalink appears like this:
https://vidameva.cat/taller/baby-steps/2017-12-02/
_______________________________________________________________
so when i change the language in the menu bar’s switcher, that takes me to 404.
but when i write in the adress browser https://vidameva.cat/es/taller/baby-steps/2017-12-02/
It takes me to secondary language. So the event in secondary language is created in /es/ directory, but while i edit, i can see the wrong permalink without /es/.
and that link is what language selector recognizes.November 21, 2017 at 3:57 pm #1388667Geoff B.MemberGood evening Arnau and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the issue you have faced while using WPML with our plugins.
I would love to help you with this topic. The first thing I would recommend is upgrading to the very latest version of our plugins (released today).
Secondly, it sounds like you might have to tweak a few things to get this to work properly.
The first thing I would recommend is heading over to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting page and disabling the cache for the language switcher templates.
Secondly, while still on the same screen, I would recommend disabling WPML’s cache.
Once both of these are done, please re-save your permalinks.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

what happens is that when i choose the option schedule multiple events the permalink turns from:
https://vidameva.cat/es/taller/baby-led-weaning
to
https://vidameva.cat/taller/baby-led-weaningThat makes a conflict between my primary and secondary language.
I followed the steps you gave and the mistake is still there.
Thank you in advance!November 24, 2017 at 3:51 pm #1391254Geoff B.MemberThis reply is private.

When something like this happens, after a backup of your database, we typically recommend downgrading back to the last working version of our plugins on your site.
I recommend reading the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/
I have been successful restoring the functionality with the following combination:
WPML 3.8.3
String Translation 2.6.2
Translation Management 2.4.2
the Events Calendar 45.13
the Events Calendar Pro 4.4.17Hopefully that can buy you some time.

Just a quick follow-up to let you know that the conflict between the Events Calendar Pro and WPML where the event series where not getting translated has been resolved with the latest version of the Events Calendar Pro and WPML.
Can you please give it a try and confirm?
Best regards,
