MemberGood evening Natasha and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. The first thing I would recommend is to try to play around with the first 2 settings under Events -> Settings -> Display to see if that helps.
Since you are using the Welfare theme, if that does not produce the same type of results as in the theme demo I would recommend reaching out to them about it.
Let me know how that goes.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the QR code scanning issues you are facing.
I would love to help you with this topic. As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Secondly, can you make sure that you are logged-in to your WordPress website while using the QR scanner app ?
This is required, otherwise the scanner app only redirects you to that event’s page.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.Do you think that this payment module is compatible with ticket plus
That is a great question!
Simply put, any payment module that works with WooCommerce will work with Event Tickets Plus.
This possible because the plugin hands off all of the transactional aspect of things to WooCommerce.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

We’ll be glad to answer your questions.I can’t for the life of me figure out how to link my calendar to a particular page on my site.
This is a great question.
I would definitely recommend going through the following guide to help with the initial setup (including URL choice) of the calendar: http://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/new-user-primer-the-events-calendar-and-events-calendar-pro/However, if you are looking to embed the calendar on a specific page, you will need to grab a copy of our the Events Calendar Pro add-on: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/
This will provide you with a ton of great features, including shortcodes: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

I would love to help you with this topic.if it is possible to change the appearance of the URL displayed from use of the Pro Additional Fields. I’d like to switch it to a button that says “Buy Tickets” versus just showing the url.
The short answer is absolutely. This can usually be done with a bit of CSS.
To achieve this, you might need to slightly tweak the meta box in the single event view.
The good news is that we have made this easy to do.You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
From there, you can simply use one of the many simple tutorials out there on how to turn links into buttons.
We even have one: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/url-as-word-button/
Let me know if that helps.

MemberGood evening Daniel and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the recurring events not displaying properly on your site.
I would love to help you with this topic.Based on what I can see, I believe the issue is with the length of the original event.
The way this is currently set up, the original event is one gigantic event that lasts from 2017-04-03 until 2017-11-02.
The correct way to handle this would be to have the original event from 2017-04-03 at 10:30 am until 2017-04-03 still at 10:30 am.
The date of 2017-11-02 should instead be used as the end date of your recurring rules.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

We are sorry to hear about the struggles you have faced while attempting to purchase our plugins.
I would love to help you with this topic.I am not sure which payment method you chose (Stripe or Paypal). Could you tell me which one that would be ?
In any case, it looks like there was a purchase that went through yesterday in the end.
Do you require any additional assistance ?
Have a great day!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.1. I’m creating a site, that is completely centered around a huge event calendar. Is it possible to just declare the calendar the main page of my website, for example by using a shortcode?
Absolutely. To do that you will indeed need to grab a copy of the Events Calendar Pro: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/
You will actually be able to set that option straight from Settings > Reading in your wp-admin dashboard.
But, you will also be able to use shortcodes if you prefer: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/
2. Is it possible to add an additional field for HTML-embeds? I want to embed video players for all events. If I use the embed code of i.e. YouTube, Twitch etc. will it be displayed correctly beneath the event post?
Yes they will. Our events work like normal posts in that respect and fully support embedding codes and even oEmbed (just pasting the YouTube link for example will render the player).
As such, you probably will not need an additional field. But, a lot of our users have successfully integrated our plugins with plugins such as Advanced Custom Fields.
3. Also thinking about purchasing your Filter product as well. Is there some sort of discount if I buy more than one item at once? Some sort of bundle price maybe?
Indeed there is! Take a look at our bundles right here: https://theeventscalendar.com/bundles/
Let me know if that helps.

Sorry for the delay replying.
Thank you for running such thorough tests. This is quite impressive indeed!
As a small token of our appreciation, I just went ahead and extended both of your licenses for 6 months.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch.
I have logged it has a legitimate bug so that it goes through the complete Dev cycle.Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date for a fix at this point.
But you will be contacted as soon as there is one.Thank you for your patience as we see this through.

MemberGood evening Ryan,
Sorry for the late reply.
I can confirm that I have been able to reproduce the issue you described.
This issue is actually “normal”. It is caused by the way different browser handle numeric inputs.
The following article explains precisely why: https://css-tricks.com/numeric-inputs-a-comparison-of-browser-defaults/
So as such it is not a bug per se and it was introduced by the good folks from the WooCommerce team in version 2.3.
To make a long story short, they dropped the + and – buttons and replaced them with a numeric input.
The good news is that you could totally do a template customization on how the add to cart works.
In fact, certain themes such as Avada do exactly that.I would recommend the following article on that topic: http://wcodex.co.in/add-plus-minus-quantity-increment-woocommerce-store/
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Danna,
At my colleague Trisha’s request, I am chiming in to help establish why the translations are not working for you.
When translation file strings are not kicking in, it is usually caused by one of the following things:
- Your translation files are not up to date (which actually was accidentally the case in our latest release)
- You are using some customized translation files that have been placed in the /wp-content/languages/ or /wp-content/languages/plugins/ folder. These files will always override any other you have
- Your theme is using its own text domain for some of the strings related to the calendar
In the first 2 cases, the solution is to update your translation files using the pot file. You can do this by using the Poedit software and heading to Catalog > Update from pot file.
If your theme is using its own text domain for template customizations, I would strongly suggest reverting back to the Events Calendar text domain in your child theme.
For that reason, could you please send me a copy of your translated po/mo files in a .zip file (preferably in a Dropbox / Google Drive link)?
+ Another issue, this word in Russian should have different endings yet it is a same word in .po: –https://www.dropbox.com/s/ur4al6qqluk38k5/SameEventWordTECTranslate.PNG?dl=0
Can you make the main highlighted ending (in blue) or whole word being translated as a separate string? That is a good question. Could you provide the actual URL to that page and tell me what the english translation of that word is ?
Hang in there,
