How to make our event pages look like the template?

I was wondering if you had any suggestions on how to make our event pages look like the Welfare template (https://themeforest.net/item/welfare-ngo-nonprofit-organization-charity-theme/12059579). Our event pages now look quite bland with very odd spacing, like this: http://heartsofgoldfoundation.org/event/workshop-fundraising-101-campaigns-donor-communications/

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

The first thing I would recommend is to try to play around with the first 2 settings under Events -> Settings -> Display to see if that helps.

Since you are using the Welfare theme, if that does not produce the same type of results as in the theme demo I would recommend reaching out to them about it.
