Good evening Darryle and welcome back!

First off, I would like to apologize for the delay answering.
We are currently experiencing a higher level of requests than usual.

Please rest assured that we are working hard at correcting this situation.
We appreciate your patience while we try to normalize things.

it says that my business linc. has expired, but it has been paid for

You are absolutely right. We have pushed a fix today that should remove that message.
We are sorry for the inconvenience.

When you click on the calendar, it shows the wrong date

By the sound of it, it looks like there is some type of conflict at play.
More specifically, for some reason, your events do not seem to have a start date, hence the wrong dates!

Aside from trying to re-save the different events to see if that helps, this is usually because of:

    1. A conflict with another plugin
    2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
    3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating

A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.

The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.

Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:

    1. Make a backup of your database
    2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

As my colleague Nico just wrote on that other thread fix for this issue has been pushed to the plugin licensing system today ?

Can you please let me know if this fixes the issue for you?

Good evening Ulli and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Based on the information I have, it looks like you have a personal license.
This is why you are being limited to 1 site.

The good news is that it is possible to move that license around, should you need to:

    1. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/license-key-out-of-installs/
    2. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-your-license-keys/

Alternatively, you could also upgrade to a business license or more, should you need a license for multiple sites: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/upgrading-a-license/

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Good evening Peter and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

We are excited to hear that you are trying to tweak the calendar exactly to your liking.

But, just to set expectations, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues.

We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.

With that in mind, have you tried the following ?:

Good evening Marco and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with these questions.

    1) it would be possible to view the maps google earth mode?

That would be a very interesting feature.

Alas, at the moment, this is not a feature we offer.
The only way that could be achieved is through some important customization.

You can read about that here: https://theeventscalendar.com/customizations/

If coding is not really your cup of tea, you could always hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.

    2) I have detected an incompatibility with another plugin that prevents it from properly display the GoogleMaps (see image). I’ve verified that the display of the maps is done through the “/tribe-events/modules/map.php” file and that the problem is generated by the “$index”. Because I cannot disable the plugin that creates the conflict, there is a different way to get the visualization of maps?

Would it be possible to know which plugin that would be ? Have you also tried temporarily reverting back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen ?

As for your question, unless you manually embed a Google Map in each event, the built-in method is the only one available for now..

With that in mind, it is usually possible to isolate that type of issue and find a solution for the offending Javascript (which seems to be your situation here).

    Hang in there,
    Geoff B.

Additionally, we are unfortunately closed on weekends, which surely did not help.

Based on these symptoms, it sounds like you might have some template customization that needs updating.

This is usually found in either the <b>/tribe-events/</b> folder of your WordPress theme’s directory or in its <b>functions.php</b> file.

You can do a quick test to see if the problem persists while you temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen.

Or you could simply temporarily rename the <b>/tribe-events/</b> folder of your WordPress theme’s directory to <b>/z_tribe-events/</b>

Let me know how that goes.

Good evening Sean and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

In order to that, even if you are only using RSVP type of tickets, you will need to grab a copy of: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets-plus/

This will let you add the following features to your RSVP events:

    1. Ability to display the attendee list (or not) for each event
    2. Ability for participants to decide if they want their name to be displayed in the attendee list
    3. Ability to capture additional attendee information.

    And much more.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Good evening Joan and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

The good news is that we were able to help the customer in the other thread you are referring to.

First off, I would advise upgrading our Event Tickets Plus to version 4.4.5 as it addresses some compatibility issues with WooCommerce 3.

Secondly, I would highly recommend using the following snippet in the functions.php file of your theme (without the PHP tag at the top): https://gist.github.com/cliffordp/66bf05df61ee269c60ff20d6f39e2cab

This ensures that the quantity of tickets cannot be changed straight from the cart.

The combination of the update and this snippet, should normally fix the issue.

Let me know how that goes.

    Good evening Margaret,

Thank you for taking the time to write back.

I just need the right license then that will work with this version of Woocommerce Tickets then.

I just went ahead and generated a WooCommerce tickets license for you.
You should find it under your https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/ page

Is this not the same license key?

Unfortunately not, WooCommerce Tickets and Event Tickets Plus are very different products (although they are in the same family).

For the record, we have officially retired WooCommerce Tickets since all of its features are included in Event Tickets Plus.

Let me know how that goes.

    Good evening wenjyun,

Thank you for taking the time to write back.

Just to set expectations, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues.

We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.

With that in mind, what is going on is that our calendar plugin relies on WordPress archives as opposed to “real pages” for rendering purposes.

If you have not done so already, I would highly recommend trying different settings under Events -> Settings -> Display for Events Template to see which one has the better rendering.

Normally, you should be able to work with the default Events template found under /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/default-template.php and use that as a model.

As an alternative our the Events Calendar Pro offers full calendar shortcodes which would allow you to simply use a normal page for your calendar.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good evening Christina,

    Thank you for your answer.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch. Yikes!
It sounds like you might have updated to WooCommerce 3 (which is know to cause such an error).

Could you try upgrading to Event Tickets Plus 4.4.5 (which was released today) ? To see if that fixes the issue.

    Best regards,

    Good evening Kinnear,

Thank you for taking the time to write back.

Sorry I’m just a designer I don’t know much about CSS and I thought this plugin was would have had these sort of changes in the settings.

Actually, there is such a feature (which it looks like you have bumped into). You can read about it here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wordpress-customizer/

But, some basic CSS (based on the previously shared articles) will go a long way for anything the customizer does not support.

This is mostly due to the fact that every WordPress theme out there is quite different.

For example the green colour you are talking about is the one the Enfold theme sets for ALL H2 titles

Try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:

    #top.single-tribe_events .tribe-events-single-event-title {
    color: #004259 !important;
    }

As for the dark header, it looks like you have been able to find out what you are looking for.
But just in case, the rule is

    .main_color .tribe-events-calendar th {
    color: #004259 !important;
    }

    Cheers,
    Geoff B.
