MemberGood evening Brent,
At this point, we have the following options left:
- Please address the max_execution time being at 0 for PHP on your live install
- Deactivate and delete completely ALLÂ the Events Calendar plugins
- Reinstall them from scratch (this has no impact on your existing events, but a DB backup is always smart).
- Reinstall WordPress itself (again a DB backup is in order).
- Create a staging/test environment that I can play with to dig deeper
Hang in there!

MemberGood evening Stephen,
Thank you for writing back.
I really do not know what happened with that automatically created event ?
I have been doing this for a while, and it is the first I have heard of this.If you want to investigate further, you would need to look at the database directly, or at least look at the published date and the author of the event.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have unfortunately.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Gernot,
Thank you for the clarification.
You are absolutely right. There is currently a cap on the custom end time of a “Once” recurring event when you select it from the menu.
However, if your initial event (the one that gets repeated) lasts 16 days, then so will all the recurring events by default. Unless you specify otherwise (in which case you are limited to up to 7 days for now).
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

1. I want to add some information to the ticket that is sent, can I do that
directly from the event calendar ticket plugin or do I have to edit the php
source file? (in the last case what strings do I have to edit?)Absolutely. You can edit the content of the ticket since it’s HTML based.
You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
Pay special attention to the Tickets section.Basically, you can have an override of any view (including tickets) by placing the correct file in your WordPress theme’s /tribe-events/
Additionally, you should check out the following extension:Â https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/add-event-and-attendee-information-to-woocommerce-order-details/
2. When I use the bank transfer method payment (from woocommerce) I want
the ticket to be sent only after the payment has been checked by me and not
automatically released by the system. How can I do this?Well, technically, when the ticket is sent is controlled by your settings at the very bottom of the Events -> Settings -> Tickets page.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Jeppe,
Thank you for writing back.
Thanks to your screenshot, I understand the issue much better. What you will need to do is follow this article’s instructions:Â https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/calendar-page-shows-event-title/
If you are having a hard time with that, could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberGood evening Stephen and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.1. Before I had created any events, the plugin created an event by itself, and it wasn’t a template example, it was an actual event of ours with the correct location, imagery etc. Where in the world did that come from?
This is an intriguing question. I am not sure exactly.
I guess I would need to see the event in question.Would you happen to have the URL of that event on hand ?
2. I’m looking to put my calendar on a specific page, with other content. Where can I find the shortcode for my calendar please?
Sure thing.
The 2 following articles should provide you with the complete list of all shortcodes:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/

MemberGood evening Maggie and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
The short answer is yes. You can totally do that with the Pro version.
This is done via the “Once” option of recurring events:Â https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-recurring-events/Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Vincenzo and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions. There are a couple of ways to filter the events.
But based on your specific needs, your best bet would be to grab a copy of the Filter Bar premium add-on:Â https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-filterbar/That should cover all your needs.
If you would also like to have some additional custom fields, you will want to also get a copy of the Events Calendar Pro premium add-on: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!
