ParticipantHi there
I would like to change the headline on my Calendar page.
As now, it shows the current event, and I would like to change this to a self-written headline.
Where or how to do this?Link to page: http://streetfooddenmark.com/kalender/

ParticipantHi there Geoff.
Thanks a lot for your apply 🙂
I am not sure if this is the correct answer, because the text appearing right now, is the name of the next event. See attached.

MemberGood evening Jeppe,
Thank you for writing back.
Thanks to your screenshot, I understand the issue much better. What you will need to do is follow this article’s instructions:Â https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/calendar-page-shows-event-title/
If you are having a hard time with that, could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberGood afternoon Jeppe,
Thank you for the files.
As it turns out, the titles from your theme come from the functions.php file at line 190 (which needs to be modified).
For that reason, I would highly recommend creating a child theme (so that your changes do not get overwritten if there is a theme update).
Here is a modified version of that file to get you started functions
Have a good weekend,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Jeppe,
Awesome.
On the plus side, it’s pretty easy to create child themes for most themes:Â https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes
There are even plugins that do that for you automatically out there.
Let me know how that goes.
