MemberGood evening Tiffany,
Thank you for writing back.
I am sorry to hear that the CSS trick did not appear to work for you. Before we continue, just to set expectations, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues. We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.
With that in mind, provided you followed exactly the steps presented in the Knowledge Base article, I can confirm that this does work with Divi.
You will need to use the Google Chrome inspector make sure that you are using precisely the correct CSS selector for the category name you chose.
If you are still struggling, I would recommend using either the other approach or one of the following plugins: https://colorlib.com/wp/content-protection-plugins-wordpress/
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Stacie,
I am truly sorry to hear that.
Have you tried reaching out to the theme author?Secondly, can you tell me if such issues happen with a newly created ticket as well (or only with older ones) ?
Finally, would you mind running the same test with new tickets while temporarily reverting back to twenty sixteen.
Hang in there!

MemberHey there Kirk,
Sorry I missed your message as I was on the nightshift yesterday and today (this is totally my bad and I apologize for that).
With that in mind, knowing that you are on Pacific time, here are a couple of tentative time slots for next week (all of them PT).
- Monday: 8 am to 11 am
- Tuesday: 8 am to 11:30 am, 12 pm to 3pm
- Wednesday: 8 am to 11:30 am, 12 pm to 3pm
- Thursday: 8 am to 11:30 am
I will simply send you a Google hangouts invite a couple of minutes before your chosen spot to your gmail address.
Have a good weekend,
Geoff B.

MemberHey Kirk,
Loxi is about to be released (we are looking at around April 2nd at this point – as we are ironing out any last minute glitches).
As a side note, I tried to reach out to you to offer a private tour but did not hear back.
If you still have time this week or next week, my offer still stands.Just let me know what day and what time works for you (and what timezone you are located in).
Cheers,
GeoffGeoff B.
MemberHey Betsy,
I am glad I could help.
You are welcome back in our support forums any time 🙂
For now, I am going to close this thread.
Have a great week!

MemberGood evening Stacie,
Thank you for the files and credentials. Both worked.
This allowed me to conduct a few tests. Here are my findings:
- Your theme is out of date and contains deprecated WooCommerce templates. After a backup you might want to update your theme
- Your theme contains customizations for the Events Calendar contained under the /tribe-events/ folder.
I was able to get things to work on my test site by:
- Updating Creativo
- Renaming that folder to /z_tribe-events/ in the Creativo theme files
- Temporarily switching back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen
- Temporarily changing the capacity of a ticket to a value and then back to unlimited (to trigger the cost field refresh)
- Switching back to Creativo with the removed customizations (step 2)
In other words, it sounds like there is an issue with the tribe-events folder that is included in your theme.
I would recommend reaching out to the theme author to report the issue or using my solution.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Magnus and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.Unfortunately, we do not support QtranslateX for multilingual use of our calendar.
Furthermore, QtranslateX seems to have been abandoned by the plugin developer (not updated in 2 years). But, the good news is that we do support 2 plugins:
- WPML https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wpml-support/
- Polylang Pro (only for the Events Calendar at the time of writing)
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have unfortunately.
Have a great day!

MemberHey there Jamie,
Thank you for taking the time to write back.
I can totally understand where you are coming from.As a side note, I am one of the strongest advocates for increased WPML compatibility.
Therefore, as promised, I escalated this and I was able to find a strategy to hopefully expedite things on that front.I still cannot offer a date at this point, but I will put the strategy in place this week.
You can rest assured that you will be informed as soon as it’s out.Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Dave,
You could achieve this in one of 2 ways:
- Create a template override for the single event view. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
- Using a snippet
You could tweak apply the following snippet in the functions.php file of your theme (without the PHP tag at the top): https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/070ad2cb22754c930a27a569077d859e
But first to be extra safe, before making any changes to your functions.php file, you should make a backup of that file.
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Tom,
Thank you for writing back. I am sorry to hear that this is not fully working.
As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Could you also please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website (including the changes you have made to functions.php). This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.
Hang in there!
