GuestWe are migrating our WordPress site to Kajabi.
My understanding is that The Events Calendar will be available as an HTML plugin by the end of March.
Please confirm this as we are waiting for your response before we start the migration.
Thank you,
Kirk

MemberGood evening Kirk and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions. You are right. We have a brand spanking new platform that is scheduled to be released for early access at the end of March. Just as you described, you will be able to embed your calendar on any website that allows for oEmbed and iframes.
With that in mind, just to set expectations, Loxi (that is the name of the new platform) will not be the Events Calendar per se.
In other words, you will not find all the same features that are in the Events Calendar on day one.
Our main goal for launch is that our customers have access to a very user-friendly interface and a rock-solid slick looking calendar. The good news is that we will also be able to import events from your copy of the Events Calendar to Loxi.
I would recommend that you subscribe to the following newsletter to make sure you are informed as soon as it’s out: https://theeventscalendar.com/calendar-beyond-wordpress/
Best regards,
Geoff B.

GuestHi Mark,
Thank you for your quick response. We are looking forward to getting started using Loxi.
Would you take a quick look at our current use of Events Calendar and let me know if Loxi will provide similar functionality in its initial release?
Key Requirements:
- Month and Day view
- Right-hand column of Upcoming Events and Event Categories
If you prefer images please let me know.

MemberHey there Mark,
Thank you for taking the time to write back.
To answer your questions:
- The only 2 views available on day one will be Month and List (and of course single event view)
- The right-hand column will depend on your website’s design, but the good news is that there is no limit to how many instances of your Loxi calendar you can embed.
In other words, although we will not have widgets such a “Upcoming events” on day one, you could totally “fake it” by embedding a list view in your site’s sidebar. Since the embed is fully responsive, this should work nicely
With all of that in mind, we are planning to do a pre-release test with customers that are interested in about 10 days. Would you like to be part of that ?
Have a great day!
Geoff B.

GuestI would welcome the opportunity to be part of your pre-release test group.
The list and month views are all we need and can live without the right column information. I imagine some of the other features will come out sometime in the future.

MemberGood afternoon Kirk,
Great. I will reach out to you shortly to fill you in on the details.
You are absolutely right, both pre-release and early user access’ goals are to make sure we make Loxi as great as possible while finding out which features we should work on next.
Have a good week and talk to you soon,
Geoff B.

MemberHey Kirk,
Loxi is about to be released (we are looking at around April 2nd at this point – as we are ironing out any last minute glitches).
As a side note, I tried to reach out to you to offer a private tour but did not hear back.
If you still have time this week or next week, my offer still stands.Just let me know what day and what time works for you (and what timezone you are located in).
Cheers,
GeoffMarch 22, 2018 at 7:20 am #1485837Kirk Danilson

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
