    Hi,

    I am working with a bilingual site using QTranslate X (Swedish and English). The text strings used by The Events Calendar are only showing in Swedish, even when site language is set to English.
    An example – the following code:

    echo get_locale().’ ‘.__( ‘our guide’, ‘the-events-calendar’ );

    will produce:

    en_US vår guide

    Does anyone have a solution for this?

    Good evening Magnus and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

    Thank you for your interest in our products.
    We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

    Unfortunately, we do not support QtranslateX for multilingual use of our calendar.
    Furthermore, QtranslateX seems to have been abandoned by the plugin developer (not updated in 2 years).

    But, the good news is that we do support 2 plugins:

    1. WPML https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wpml-support/
    2. Polylang Pro (only for the Events Calendar at the time of writing)

    I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have unfortunately.

    Have a great day!

    Geoff B.

    Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
