MemberGood evening Shawn and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. You could apply the following snippet in the functions.php file of your theme (without the PHP tag at the top):Â https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/69f8a033fb614c78b3de45a197431135
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Kate and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.1) A link/button to print or download the ticket
I believe you will like the following extension:Â https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/view-print-download-pdf-tickets/
2) A tick box to be added to a mailing list
Could you expand on what you had in mind exactly ?
I am not sure what newsletter system you are using. But if you are simply looking for a way to capture opt-in (and then add the subscription later), that can totally be arranged via Event Tickets Plus additional attendee info fields: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/collecting-attendee-information/
Another thing you could do is simply integrate your current signup form via a template customization.
You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
As a side note, since you are using Yoast, you might want to take a peek at the following article:Â https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/titles-in-yoast-seo/
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Martin and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the black line showing up on your site when you add a calendar via a shortcode.
I would love to help you with this topic.
As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Secondly, could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made. Finally, if possible, it would be awesome to have access to an example of that on your website (even if that means password protecting a “secret” page for example).
Hang in there!

MemberBonsoir Brigitte,
Je viens d’aller voir vos liens et il semble que vous ayez rĂ©ussi Ă rĂ©gler le souci.
Toutes mes félicitations.En ce qui concerne les shortcodes, voici les listes demandées:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/
N’hĂ©sitez pas s’il y a quoi que ce soit d’autre.
Bonne soirée,

MemberGood evening,
You can actually set the category assignment as part of each imported feed’s rules.
Once the events are imported in the Events Calendar, the only thing left will be to use shortcodes or a customization to display only specific categories. This can be done thanks to the Events Calendar Pros’ shortcodes:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/
I would only need an email to tie the license to.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening,
That is a great question.
There are a couple of ways to do this:
- Using our Event Aggregator service:Â https://theeventscalendar.com/product/event-aggregator/
That lets you import from several Google Calendar feeds and assign each feed different parameters (e.g.: Event Category)
- You could then display the calendar filtered by Category (each user is category in this case) using our awesome the Events Calendar Pro shortcodes
- Another idea (but I am not sure that fits your need) is to use Community Events https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-community-events/ this completely ditches the Google Calendar idea and lets every user manage their calendar.
Let me know if any of these ideas would work ?

MemberGood evening Nick,
Before we continue, I want to thank Sebastian for chiming in and offering to help.
That is super appreciated. The good news is that Nick and I have managed to solve the issue 🙂
Is it possible to show the widgitized footer from home on the calendar page?
The short answer is yes. The simplest way to achieve this is to add your widgetized footer directly in the different calendar views.
You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
Basically, just ensure you “steal” the code to call the widgets from your other page templates and include them in your custom event-related templates.
You can even define a new widget area should you want to.
Let me know how that goes.

MemberBonsoir Brigitte,
https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets/
.tribe-events-grid .tribe-scroller {
height: 800px !important;
}Salutations,

MemberGood evening Diego,
I am sorry that this did not yield better results.
Let us continue the investigation then.Would you mind trying the snippet in the wp-config.php file.
In my experience that might make an important difference in the net result.I would also recommend installing something a CRON manager plugin (e.g.: WP Crontrol).
This will let you see if this is triggered by some type of CRON job and stop it from happening. If you could also look at the CRON jobs at the server level, that would be awesome.
Finally, can you tell me if you have some kind of “backup” plugin or service in place (through WordPress or at the server level).
The reason I am asking is because sometimes when there is a “server failure” (of any kind), these services tend to revert back to the last backup. It might be a long shot, but worth checking too.
Let me know how that goes.
