MemberGood evening Samantha,
The default URL can be changed to “calendar” by going to Events -> Settings -> General.
Look for “Events URL slug”.Once that is done, make sure you have no “real page” with the “calendar” slug (like you currently do). This is because even though the calendar is not a “real page” it needs exclusivity on the slug.
After that is done, simply follow these instructions: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/adding-a-calendar-link-to-your-site-menu/
To summarize:
- For now the only way to get the filter bar is by not using a shortcode, but rather the default view slug set under Events -> Settings -> General
- We will add filter bar to the full view shortcode as soon as we can and let you know about it once we do.
- If you want to add a bit of content before or after the calendar (like you did on your page using a shortcode), use the Advanced Template Settings section under Events -> Settings -> Display (at the bottom of that page).
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood afternoon Justin,
I am glad this works for you.
I would highly recommend creating a child theme: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-themes/how-to-create-a-wordpress-child-theme-video/ or through a plugin.
That way you will not lose your customizations when updating. Will this be addressed in the near future updates?
The answer is probably not. This is because we have a wide-variety of customers that each have different needs, including tax-related ones.
The consensus for now is that the majority prefers to see tax included.
But, as you saw and as is the case with most features, we typically have workarounds to make sure everybody can tweak the calendar and tickets’ behavior to their liking.Have a good weekend,

I would love to help you with this topic. Is there a way to print out all the tickets that haven’t as yet been paid for?
The short answer is not quite. But I believe we can work around this.
The main issue with that approach is that WooCommerce tickets are typically tied to the user account. In short, that means that if you are creating a ticket to print-off, the customer could see that ticket if they log in to the calendar prior to paying (which is what you want to avoid).
The ideal solution would have been to use a COD type of payment gateway and only complete the purchase once the customer gets there. This would: trigger the email AND enable you to print the ticket on the spot.
What you could do though is use an RSVP ticket for that purpose (which you can rename to your liking).
Here’s how that would work:
- Adapt the following snippet: https://gist.github.com/cliffordp/4f06f95dbff364242cf54a3b5271b182#file-functions-php
This sends a bcc to the site admin when an RSVP ticket is created. You would only need to remove the customer’s email from the email being sent.
In other words RSVP tickets would only be sent to the site admin not the customer.
- Before the event, print off all these special tickets from the emails received.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening B.,
Normally, there should be a “forgot password” link available on the login screen.
However, for some reason, I cannot find a trace of the account in question.Perhaps the purchase of the license was done with a different email address ?
Can you confirm that the license is for seedfaithfellowship.org ?
Hang in there!

MemberGood evening Drew and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.Once installed, can the registration and ticketing feature be toggled off for events that we do not manage ourselves? Or would the registration be on screen for all events created in the Calendar?
The short answer is yes.
You have total control over which events get registration and ticketing features (or not).Even better, you can turn it on for only a limited period of time on an event and then shut it down later. It’s really all up to you.
I would recommend reading the following to get a better understanding of how that works: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/making-tickets/
Let me know if that helps.

I would love to help you with this topic. The normal process looks like what you can see here: http://wpshindig.com/event/events-tickets-demo/. Simply try adding a quantity of 1 to any ticket found on that page.
What I can see at http://hrvinc.staging.wpengine.com/event/sspc-c5-training/ looks far more customized.
As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

I am not sure how you added the registration information, but can you confirm you followed the procedure found in the links below ?

I would love to help you with this topic.I’m getting my web redisgned. I don’t want to loose all the events that are all ready published.
If you are getting your website redesigned, typically, that means changing the WordPress theme files. If I understand correctly what you are doing, it should not impact your existing the Events Calendar events.
With that in mind, it is always wise to do a backup of everything (plugins, themes, uploads and database before changing the design – that way you can always rollback to that version).
Just to be on the safe side, could you answer the following questions:
- Are you changing domain names ? (something different than your current web URL)
- Is the person redesigning using your current WordPress install and creating a new theme + pages on top of it OR are they “wiping everything and starting from scratch” ?
The best practice is to start from your current WordPress install. If that is not the case, the developper will need to import the events to his “new site” (dev version) prior to erasing your current install.

I would love to help you with this topic. You could apply the following snippet in the functions.php file of your theme (without the PHP tag at the top): https://gist.github.com/jesseeproductions/787c47f1756a18d8c05d#file-tickets-plus-disable-tax-php
Let me know how that goes.
