WooCommerce Defaults to taxable in new tickets

I am having a problem when adding new tickets where Woocommerce defaults to taxable. Tickets should not be taxable and I would like them to default to non-taxable when they are created in Woocommerce. I am also selling physical products on the site so I need to have a taxable rate for those.

I guess I just need to know where I can set all new tickets to be non-tax. I know I can go in and adjust the product in woo commerce but since I have many events every month and I am having employees add these events it seems like to many extra steps.

Please help.

That seemed to work however I do not have a child theme installed. Will this be addressed in the near future updates?

I am glad this works for you.

I would highly recommend creating a child theme: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-themes/how-to-create-a-wordpress-child-theme-video/ or through a plugin.
That way you will not lose your customizations when updating.

Will this be addressed in the near future updates?

The answer is probably not. This is because we have a wide-variety of customers that each have different needs, including tax-related ones.

The consensus for now is that the majority prefers to see tax included.
But, as you saw and as is the case with most features, we typically have workarounds to make sure everybody can tweak the calendar and tickets’ behavior to their liking.
