MemberMy pleasure! Glad something got worked out–even if it’s not the most elegant workaround.
Drop that feature idea into our UserVoice page–I can see how others might find that useful as well.

MemberHi there, Mark!
Outside of the options I’ve already shared, I’m not aware of any other way to do this right out of the box. It might be possible to accomplish it with some additional custom development, but that’s beyond what we can support here in the forums.
However, I have tried that snippet in my local installation and created a recurring event and the price does display for me in List View after adding a ticket via WooTickets. Here’s a screenshot of my event settings and one of the event after publishing in case that helps recreate the scenario.
Cheers!

MemberI also wanted to share this snippet with you. You can add it to your theme’sย functions.php file and it will accomplish the same thing by modifying it with your event categories. This is a good alternative to the CSS solution if you prefer to remove the category rather than hide it. ๐

MemberHi there, Dave! Thanks for getting in touch and welcome to the forums. I’m sorry you’re hitting some trouble here, but hopefully we can figure it out here together. ๐
There are a number of ways we can go to troubleshoot this, but will you first send me a link to an event that is showing the issue? I tried going to the following past event and it looks like it is showing as a /single-event page with content:ย http://www.ccacanada.com/single-event/brazilian-presidential-election-preview/
Is this event missing content or does this mean the issue is only happening with some events and not others? Let’s start with that question and then hopefully we can troubleshoot this a little deeper.
Cheers!

MemberHi there, Erik! Welcome back to the forums. ๐
Before I upgrade, can you make a page somewhere on your site โ maybe just copying the contents of a blog post โ and adding the [tribe_mini_calendar] shortcode right beside it?
Here’s a quick example of the shortcode being used in a blog post. Also, we do offer a full refund for all our products within 30 days of purchase. That will also give you some time to play around with the plugin to see if it fully fits your needs.
Also, as shortcodes is the #1 request that you have on the uservoice, might you tweet it via your twitter account to let people know that your shortcoding is under way?
You’re right–it’s a huge requested feature. The biggest request we get for shortcodes is to embed a full version of the calendar and that’s something we’re definitely looking into but haven’t released. You can bet that we’ll let people know when it is. ๐
Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know.
Cheers!

MemberHi there, Dirk! Welcome back to the forums–nice to see you again and we’re stoked you’ve been loving the plugins so far. ๐
I see what you mean. I went to your site, selected a category from the Filter Bar and the filters worked correctly. Then, I clicked the “Reset Filters” link. That properly reset the filters, but then wiped out all the events below it. Definitely not how things are supposed to work. In fact, I tried the same thing out on my own local installation and events were still displayed after resetting the filters.
That makes me wonder if there is a conflict at play with the theme or another plugin, so let’s see if the issue is isolated to one of those.
Could you try temporarily activating the default Twenty Thirteen theme, to see if the issue happens there as well?ย If disabling the theme fixes it, thatโs good news! It means we have narrowed the issue down to a theme conflict.
If the issue is still there when using the default Twenty Thirteen theme, then we can try testing for conflicts with other installed plugins. Using the Twenty Thirteen, please try deactivating all of your plugins, except for the ones from Modern Tribe. Does that solve the problem? If so, reactivate the plugins one at a time until the issue pops back up, then tell me which one was causing the issue.
These steps are alsoย outlined hereย if you want some more details on how to test for conflicts.
Give those steps a shot and let me know what you find. ๐

MemberHi there, Hergen! Thanks for getting in touch. ๐
Good question. I checked the release notes for version 3.6 and didn’t see that feature included. It’s also something I’m not aware of in any recent versions as well.
However, it does appear that the ability to remove categories from the Filter Bar is remarkably easier than it was when that thread was posted and can be done with some CSS. For example, let’s say we have an event category called Barbecue and another called Concert that we want to hide. We can target that category and hide it by adding this to the theme’sย style.css file:
.tribe-events-filter-checkboxes li.tribe-events-category-barbecue, .tribe-events-filter-checkboxes li.tribe-events-category-concertย { display: none; }This would hide both categories if using the checkbox option in the Filter Bar settings.
Does that make sense? Will that work for you? Please let me know. ๐
Cheers!
