    Hello
After making the updated program, the website does not show the various display options such as calendar week view, month view, etc.

    You can check here:

    Thanks

Hi there, Alfredo! Thanks for getting in touch and sorry you’re hitting some trouble here. Hopefully we can figure it out here together. 🙂

It looks like the JavaScript file for the view options is triggering an error. This could be for a few different reasons, so we’ll have to narrow it down a little more.

First off, are you in Debug Mode? If so, please disable it by heading over to Events > Settings and make sure the “Debug mode” option at the bottom of the page is unchecked, then save your settings. Does that make a difference?

Secondly, I wonder if there is a conflict with the theme or another installed plugin. Could you try temporarily activating the default Twenty Thirteen theme, to see if the issue happens there as well?

Thirdly, if the issue is still there when using the default Twenty Thirteen theme, then we can try testing for conflicts with other installed plugins. Using the Twenty Thirteen, please try deactivating all of your plugins, except for the ones from Modern Tribe. Does that solve the problem? If so, reactivate the plugins one at a time until the issue pops back up, then tell me which one was causing the issue.

Give those steps a shot and let me know what you find.

    Cheers!

    Thanks for your answer Geoff.

I’ve done everything you said, except put the Therteen Theme, (Maybe it’s a risk), and it has not worked.

But I just saw that the plugin has been updated is “The Events Calendar” (3.9) but “The Events Cakendar Pro” is still in the verion 3.8.1 and do not know how to update it since Worpress not indicate any necessary update. I tried to do it manually but it gives me an error and tells me the folder is already created.

    Thanks

Hi there, Alfredo! Thanks for giving that first step a shot–I appreciate it. 🙂

Ah, yes. Using different versions of the plugins can definitely cause conflicts, so let’s go there next. You can download the latest version of The Events Calendar PRO (3.9) by heading to Account Center > Downloads here on this site. Here’s a direct link.

Once you have the latest version, go ahead and install it to your site. If you’re still having problems with the error message about the folder already existing, you can delete the PRO plugin first, then upload the latest version.

    Cheers!

    Thank you Geoff.
One question before deleting the plugin “Events Calendar Pro”. If I delete, do I would lose the events created before? thank you very much

Good question! No, you not lose any data. However, it is always a good idea to backup your database when making updates to any WordPress plugin.

Thank you, all is working well, I almost had a heart attack, but all is all right now.

Phew! I’m so glad that everything worked out and that no heart attacks happened in the process. 🙂

Great work getting everything up an running. I’ll go ahead and close this thread, but please feel free to hit us up with a new one if any other questions pop up. We’d be happy to help.

    Cheers!
    Geoff
