Hey there, Joseph! Thanks for getting in touch and sorry you’re hitting some trouble with you events displaying on the correct date.

That’s certainly an interesting problem. Did something change on your site between the events displaying correctly, then not displaying correctly? For example, did you update your theme or any plugins?

Could you try temporarily activating the default Twenty Fourteen theme, to see if the issue happens there as well? If disabling the theme fixes it, that’s good news! It means we have narrowed the issue down to a theme conflict.

If the issue is still there when using the default Twenty Fourteen theme, then we can try testing for conflicts with other installed plugins. Using the Twenty Fourteen, please try deactivating all of your plugins, except for the ones from Modern Tribe. Does that solve the problem? If so, reactivate the plugins one at a time until the issue pops back up, then tell me which one was causing the issue.

These steps are also outlined here if you want some more details on how to test for conflicts.

Please give those steps a shot and let me know what you find. 🙂

    Cheers!

Hi there, Ada! Thanks for getting in touch.

Good question. You can grab the latest version of PRO right here on this site by heading to My Account > Downloads, and downloading the latest version from that screen. Once it’s downloaded, you can log into WordPress, deactivate and delete the old version, then upload the new one using the “Upload Plugin” option. These steps are explained in greater detail here in this tutorial.

Note that you can activate automatic updates in the future by following the steps in this tutorial.

Does this help get you running in the right direction? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!

Hi Jay, welcome to the forums! Sorry to hear you’re hitting some trouble with updating the plugin, but we’ll help get things back on the right track. 🙂

Are you able to manually remove the plugins via FTP or through your host’s control panel? I think it would be helpful to try to uninstall The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar PRO from there and start with a clean slate.

Once the plugins are manually removed, head back to your WordPress dashboard and refresh to see if you are able to click links again.

Then, please go ahead and try reinstalling the plugins (might help to work with fresh copies of both), but this time do it with the Upload Plugin option under Plugins > Add New. Make sure both plugins are the same version (3.9.1) and upload the ZIP files that way.

Are you able to install and activate the plugins from there? Does the issue come back when you do? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!

Sweet! I’m so glad that did the trick. The filter metabox is definitely an easy one to miss.

That’s a rad popover effect. I’d imagine that sort of customization is possible, but it would definitely take some development on your end to achieve it. For example, you can see how creative some people get with customizations by checking out our showcase. A good place to start with customizations is our Themer’s Guide, which will walk you through the ins and outs. Still, it will take a little elbow grease, for sure. 🙂

I’ll go ahead and close this thread since we hit the core question, but feel free to hit up a new one if you have more follow-up questions about customizations and we’ll definitely try to point you in right direction if we can.

    Cheers!

Ah, gotcha! Thanks for clarifying, that makes sense.

Unfortunately, the only shortcode available at the moment is the mini calendar widget. You might want to check out the Event Rocket plugin (not supported by us), which adds shortcode functionality to the calendar. That sounds a lot closer to what you’re looking for.

Give that a shot and let me know if you have any follow-up questions. 🙂

    Cheers!

P.S. I’m going to move this thread from the Community Events forum to PRO.

Hi there, Brooke! Thanks for getting in touch and checking out the EDD add-on.

Good question. In short, EDD Tickets acts as a bridge between The Events Calendar and Easy Digital Delivery so that tickets can be created directly in Event posts, then sold through through EDD’s checkout process. Once an order has been completed, the customer is able to download the ticket from the confirmation screen, and is emailed a copy of the ticket as well.

That means you can create any number of tickets in each event and create as many events as you need.

I’m honestly not sure how the integration with a crowdfunding tool would work. I suppose it depends on how it interacts with EDD and whether it would allow a customer to add more items to their cart, or to contribute a donation directly from the cart.

In either case, that’s custom development that we are unable to support here in the forums, but would be happy to share a list of freelancers who would likely be able to help with that. Once you’re ready, please email us at support [at] theeventscalendar.com and we’ll send it over. 🙂

Foes this help answer your question? Please let me know and thanks again for reaching out.

    Cheers!

Thanks for following up! Glad to hear the strings are correctly translated in the plugin file, but I hope you’re able to find where the disconnect is happening.

I’ll go ahead and close this thread, but feel free to hit us up with a new one here in Translations forum if you run into any other questions–perhaps other members of the community will be able to chime in.
