MemberHello Kalle!
Good question. I believe that would be possible with some custom development–for example, by using WP conditionals like <i>is_user_logged_in()</i>. However, it’s not something that is built right into the plugin itself.
There is also a way to hide specific categories from the calendar. This would give you the ability to hide events contained in a category from the front end, but the events are still available in the WordPress dashboard.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. π

MemberHey there, Stacey!
Did you check out the Event Rocket shortcodes? It provides many more shortcodes than just the Month view and even provides some instruction on how to make the calendar the main page of your site.

MemberHey there, macro! Welcome to the forums and sorry f0r the trouble here with tickets.
Do you happen to be using a plugin for multilingual support? If so, are you able to try switching that off and see if the problem with tickets is still there?
At the very least, it would be great if you could run through these troubleshooting steps so we can find any other possible conflicts.
Let’s start there and see what we find. π

MemberHey there, danfeeley–nice to see you again and welcome back. π
Good question. Yes, you will need to add one of the other Month View templates to your theme. For example, if you want to add the sold out notice to the event title, you would add it to this template: /the-events-calendar/views/month/single-event.php.
See the notes in that template for more detailed instructions on customizing the other Month View templates–there’s a lot of good information in there. π

MemberHi there, Silvia! Thanks for getting in touch and welcome to the forums. π
That’s a great idea. While it’s not currently a feature that’s available right out of the box, allowing people to RSVP, decline or show interest in an event directly on the site (with reporting) is something we’re definitely looking into. We recently updated Facebook Events to the latest Facebook API, and this is one of many things we’re hoping to add in future versions–though I don’t have a timeframe for when that would be available.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. π

MemberThat’s great! Thanks for following up, Marcia. π
Have there been other updates to the site? For example, has the themeΒ been updated? Or perhaps another plugin? Hosts will sometimes make automatic updates to WordPress or other plugins as well, so it’s not a long shot that could have happened.
Please clarify what you mean by the organizer email link disappearing.
I could see the email address, but it was not linked to anything.
Did you have any other questions here? Please let me know. π
Cheers!

MemberHelloΒ Laurent–thanks for getting in touch!
Good question. The tickets add-on is likely the best thing for you here. PRO does add recurring events–however, recurring events will not work with tickets. In other words, you will still need to create an individual event in order to create tickets for an event.
There are several tickets options available. The best one really depends on what ecommerce platform you prefer: WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, WP-Ecommerce, Shopp or Eventbrite. We have a chart to help choose the right platform on this page, if it helps.
Let me know if you have any follow-up questions here and I’d be happy to help. π
Cheers!

MemberHello Stacey and welcome to the forums!
You’re not missing anything here. The mini calendar is indeed the only shortcode that is currently available.
If you’re looking for more shortcodes, I’d suggest checking out the Event Rocket plugin. It’s not supported here by us, but does provide additional shortcodes for The Events Calendar that I’m pretty sure you’ll find useful.
Does this help? Please let me know. π
Cheers!
