ticket for museum

Hello,

I want to start to sell entrance ticket for a museum.
The ticket are available for different time: 10am, 11am, 12am, 1pm ect… for everyday.
I want the client to received eticket then the Front desk at the museum to check if tickets are valid to let the guest get in.

1/ I want the front desk staff to access to a “simple interface to check validity of tickets”
2/ I am a bit confused on which plug in to use: ticket or event calendar pro as the tickets are “recurring event ticket”

Which solution would you recommend?

Hello Laurent–thanks for getting in touch!

Good question. The tickets add-on is likely the best thing for you here. PRO does add recurring events–however, recurring events will not work with tickets. In other words, you will still need to create an individual event in order to create tickets for an event.

There are several tickets options available. The best one really depends on what ecommerce platform you prefer: WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, WP-Ecommerce, Shopp or Eventbrite. We have a chart to help choose the right platform on this page, if it helps.
