Hi there 🙂

Is it possible to have a “backend” calendar or two different versions of the same calendar?

    Scenario:

All visitors can see the frontend calendar with all approved events.

Community members can (through the community events plugin) add events and see a backend version of the calendar with all events (approved and unapproved) in order to coordinate and avoid creating events on the same dates.

Hope this is possible and am looking forward to hearing from you guys 🙂

    Kind regards…

    Hello Kalle!

Good question. I believe that would be possible with some custom development–for example, by using WP conditionals like is_user_logged_in(). However, it’s not something that is built right into the plugin itself.

There is also a way to hide specific categories from the calendar. This would give you the ability to hide events contained in a category from the front end, but the events are still available in the WordPress dashboard.

Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!
