MemberNice work pinpointing the issue down further! This is excellent information. ๐
Does your theme (or any of your other plugins) give you control over where sidebars appear on the site? For example, it would be great to see which registered sidebar is being pulled in by checking the Appearance > Widgets settings in WordPress and matching the widgets to the sidebar on the calendar. From there, it might be easier to tell which sidebar is being called and which templates use it and might be conflicting with the calendar–which is a custom post archive template.
Thanks!

MemberHello Mike,
Good question! The user can indeed edit an event that is currently held in Draft status. In other words, the user will be able toย edit their event even before it has been published to the front end.
Does this help clear things up? Please let me know. ๐
Cheers,

MemberHey @Joseph,
Sorry for the confusion here! Our site has been updated since that thread and those instructions are certainly misleading to how things are currently laid out. ๐
All of our resources, including snippets, tutorials, functions and other helpful tools are located in the Knowledgebase. Give that a look and let us know if any questions pop up from there.
As noted in that previous thread, there is a Location search in the calendar’s search bar which can list events by a proximity. An easy way to list events would be to link directly to that search query.
Cheers!

MemberHi Sam and thanks for reaching out!
Good question. Right now, you can use:
- The Events Calendar PRO to make recurring events
- Any of our ticketing add-ons to create tickets for events
However, the only way to get what you’re looking for is to create a separate event for each day of the event and create tickets for each of those events. You don’t need PRO for that, but the ticketing add-ons will be needed for sure.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. ๐
Cheers!

Thanks for following up!
I see exactly what you mean now and have created a ticket for us to look into this. I’ll move this thread to “Pending Fix” and update you when we have more information to share.
Thanks for reporting this!

MemberYeah, the ability to add straight categories is not currently supported, but the article from my last reply will help you add additional fields for venues, which can be used like categories. ๐
Cheers!
