MemberHey Brendan–nice to see you again and hope all is well!
The best way to modify layouts is to do a template override–basically copying the appropriate template from the plugin, dropping into a new folder in your theme called tribe-events, then modifying the layout from there. This is detailed way more thoroughly in our themer’s guide.
From there, you can customize the views however you would like–add elements, remove elements, create conditions that display different data for different users. Totally up to you. 🙂
Will that help you get started? Please let me know.
Cheers!

MemberHello Stuart and thanks for reaching out!
That’s exactly right–The Events Calendar can do all of those right out of the box and is a free download on WordPress here:
If you add Events Calendar PRO to the mix, that enables pages for your venues and organizers which might be a cool touch for your events.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHey again, Marcel!
We do update the language files for our products with each release and use the most recent versions of what public volunteers have contributed to our translation site. Is the Dutch translation translation incorrect there as well? If so, it would be awesome if you would be willing to submit a correction so we can roll it into an upcoming release.
For the record, here is more information on how the translations process works for the plugins.
Cheers!

MemberHey Marcel!
Good question. Updating the language files is a totally legit way to go. An easier alternative might be to check out the Say What? plugin so you don’t have to touch the files.
Will that work for you? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHey there Brian, and sorry for the trouble!
Hi there,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear about this issue
This appears to have affected a couple of other people. Right around the same time you posted. That likely points to an issue with our plugin update engine on the site.
I’ve re-tested and things seem to be up in running order. Will you please give the license key another go?
You can also perform a manual update of the plugin, while look in to his together.
Let me know if the issue persists and we can go from there.
Thanks!

MemberHey there, @UMaine!
Thanks for reaching out and great questions.
I would definitely encourage you to apply so we can process the application.
If you were to apply and be accepted, we cannot process refunds outside of 30-days of purchase. However, a premium license entitles you to support here in our premium forums (which a non-profit license does not), so you would still be able to get use out of your license up until it expires.
A multisite license would be required for support on a multisite network. You could certainly purchase a personal level license for any of our add-ons to get support for that add-on for the site it is registered to. You could get a business level license if you would like to up the support for multiple sites.
Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know!

MemberHey there, @danfeekey!
Sorry for the continued trouble here. I do see that we had two tickets in our system related to the quantities being off after a sale. One released in 4.0.2 but I’m wondering if your issue is closer to the one that’s going to be released in the next 4.0.3 update. It certainly sounds like the same deal.
I don’t have a concrete date for the release, but we are working like crazy to get it out before the holidays. I’ll set this thread to Pending Fix and will update date you when I know more so you are in the loop.
Sorry again and thanks for bringing this back up!

MemberHey there, @CDC! Nice to see you again. 🙂
This appears to be a theme conflict as far as the styling goes. While the best person to answer the question is likely the theme author, one thing you might try doing is changing your calendar template in Events > Settings > Display. If you have it set to default calendar template, change it to one of your theme templates and vice versa. That can help avoid conflicts like this.
If not, then I would suggest reaching out to the theme author as a next course of action.
Thanks!
GeoffDecember 17, 2015 at 11:54 am in reply to: How to get Date and Time on Ticket for recurring events? #1043119Geoff
MemberHi Amy, and thanks for getting in touch!
I’m afraid the issue is here is that recurring events do not support ticket sales at this time. It is something we have started working on for a future release, but is not available yet. To get the date and times in working order, the event will have to be a single event not in a recurring series instead.
Sorry for the bad news, but does this at least help answer your question?
Thanks,
GeoffGeoff
MemberHello @CDC,
Yes, that’s totally possible! You will want to locate the CSS classes for the elements where you would like to use your font (great article here on how to do that), then add your font styles to those elements in your theme’s style.css file or by using a plugin like Simple Custom CSS.
That would look something like:
.my-element { font: "Century Gothic"; }The spelling is possible as well. In fact, we have a nice write-up on that as well.
Will this help you get started? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHey there!
Thanks for chiming in, @Gino! I would have asked the same question so I appreciate you jumping in. 🙂
Matt, I see the same issue you do. I went ahead and opened a ticket in our system to look into this a bit further. I’ll set this thread to Pending Fix and will follow up with you when we know more.
In the meantime, would it be possible for you to change your calendar timezone settings so that it is not sitewide, but the local timezone for each event? You will still be able to set Phoenix as the timezone for your event and the date will show correctly in the widget from there.
Sorry for the trouble and thanks for bringing this up!

MemberHey there,
We re-tested this issue and all seems to be working smoothly in the latest versions of the plugins. Please do update if you haven’t already and see if it is resolved for you as well.
If the issue is still there, please do open a new thread, reference this one and provide some new details for testing and we’d be happy to check on it again with fresh eyes. 🙂
Thanks for your patience while we worked on this!
