ParticipantHello,
We recently noticed that the block date on our sidebar calendar widget it showing the incorrect date, despite the actual date of the event. When we click into the event or view in the full calendar view, it displays correctly with the correct date – the issue is just in Widget view. Please see the following screenshot of the anomaly:

Your help would be appreciated for our Pro account!
Thanks,
Matt

ParticipantHave you set your timezone correctly in the WordPress settings? It’s possible the calendar is out of sync with your timezone and displaying tomorrow’s results.

ParticipantYes, the time is correct in WordPress – we are in Phoenix, Arizona and it is set to that. I also made sure that the Timezone Settings within The Events Calendar are set to use the sitewide timezone everywhere.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks,
Matt

MemberHey there!
Thanks for chiming in, @Gino! I would have asked the same question so I appreciate you jumping in. 🙂
Matt, I see the same issue you do. I went ahead and opened a ticket in our system to look into this a bit further. I’ll set this thread to Pending Fix and will follow up with you when we know more.
In the meantime, would it be possible for you to change your calendar timezone settings so that it is not sitewide, but the local timezone for each event? You will still be able to set Phoenix as the timezone for your event and the date will show correctly in the widget from there.
Sorry for the trouble and thanks for bringing this up!
Geoff
