MemberAh, that clarifies things a ton!
Yes, there does seem to be an issue when adding tickets specifically to WooCommerce Product post types. I’ve opened a ticket so we can work on it. I don’t have a timeframe for when it will be fixed, but I’ll mark this thread Pending Fix and keep you posted as I learn more.
Thanks for reporting this!

MemberAwesome, glad to hear the errors and 404 issues have been resolved!
Will you please head to Events > Settings and click the “Update Timezone Data” button at the bottom of the screen? There could be some conflicting data between The Events Calendar settings and the WordPress settings and this could clean that up.
If it doesn’t for some reason, will you please send me a fresh copy of your system info now that things have been updated. You can post that as a private reply and I’ll check it to see your timezone settings.
Thanks!

MemberHey Alexander,
Thanks for giving that a shot and sorry it didn’t work.
I’ve created a ticket for us to fix this up. While I don’t have a timeframe for when it will be addressed, I will mark this thread Pending Fix and keep you posted as I know more.
Thanks for reporting this!

MemberHi Matt,
One more question: is this happening when you try to adding a ticket to any event, page or post–or is it just happening with events, or just posts, etc? If you could provide me a screenshot of the editing screen you’re on before hitting submit for the ticket, that might help as well.
Thanks!

MemberWell, shoot. That means this is a theme-related conflict rather than something with the calendar customizations.
I’m afraid we’re limited in how much we can support conflicts with themes. You could try using a snippet like this to display the events in reverse-reverse chronological order. I haven’t tested it personally, but hope it at least provides a good starting point for you:

MemberThanks for following up, Dan!
One more thing I’d like to ask you to try is following the steps outlined here:
It’s a bit of a long shot because I’m not convinced this is a 404-related issue, but it’s good to rule it out and the steps may help resolve other issues as well.
Please give that a shot and see if it makes a difference.
Thanks!

MemberAwesome, glad that helps!
I think strip_tags will remove the formatting for you so you’re left with raw data for the address. Might have to play around with that a little bit, but it’s the same basic idea as the featured image, but including the call to strip tags.
I think you’re well on your way! Did you have any other questions specific to the process for how to create different layouts for different calendar views? I think we’ve veered off that a bit but wanted to make sure before closing this thread out.
Cheers!

MemberHey Jason,
Thanks for the donut offer–we would love that for sure. 🙂
Today I experienced another issue. The whole site went down and I got this error:
Ack! Just to make sure, that error has gone away, right? Or are you still seeing that? If so, let’s circle back to that (or perhaps open a new thread) so we can look at that as well.
Now I have it reactivated and I have the Pro plugin updated as you suggested. But I get 404 messages on all events and category pages. The only time the event’s display is on the homepage where I’m using the Event Calendar Shortcode plugin.
404s can be the result of a few things. We do have a few methods for resolving those listed here. Will you please run through those steps and let me know if it helps make a difference in the 404s?
Thanks so much!?

MemberHi Richelle,
Sorry for the troubles with updating! The move from 3.12 to 4.0 was a big one so there are definitely some things to watch for that might cause this sort of thing.
First off, do you have a folder in your theme directory called tribe-events? If so, please remove it (back it up on your desktop or somewhere else, of course). That will make sure no prior customizations to templates are conflicting with the latest versions.
Next, are there any calendar-related snippets in your theme’s functions.php file? You can check this by searching for anything with the word “tribe” in it.
Lastly, please try a manual update. In other words, deactivate the old versions, delete them from the server, download the new versions, and install them. I would suggest installing and activating the new plugins one at a time instead of in bulk. Here are more specific step-by-step instructions for manual updates.
Let’s start here and see what we find.
Thanks!
