Community events with free tickets

Hi,

I’m developing a site for a non-profit organisation (my home village) and am looking to create an events system for village events.

The free Events Calendar and Event Tickets plugins are great and I’m really impressed with them, I’m thinking of upgrading to Events Calendar Pro very soon.

I’m looking to purchase the Community Events plugin as giving villagers the ability to make their own events would save the website admin a load of hassle. I was wondering if it is possible to use Community Events together with the free version of Event Tickets? I don’t need to take any payments, just simple RSVP’s so villagers can judge numbers attending etc. As I don’t need to actually take any payments buying Event Tickets Pro and Community Tickets is a big price hike for a lot of unneeded functionality.

I did see that you offer plugins to non-profit organisations, however our village hall is a converted church that does still offer church services so unfortunately even though we’re not actually a religious organisation we will be advertising this hall, so Im assuming this disqualifies us for the non-profit plugins?

Thanks for getting in touch! I’m really stoked to hear you’re checking out the premium plugins and that you’ve been enjoying The Events Calendar and Event Tickets so far. 🙂

You will indeed need Event Ticket Plus in order for tickets to be created on the front end of the site, even if they are free RSVPs.

I would encourage you to apply for our non-profit program.
