ParticipantHey,
I use the PRO Version of the Events Calendar. Unfortunately there is a problem within the list view. The plugin shows all events backwards and not forwards. So the website user see all events from 2018 and not from 2016.
Can you help me?

ParticipantSorry – I think that is the wrong forum. Could somebody move this discussion to the events calendar section?

MemberHey Samuel and thanks for bearing with us as we catch up from the holiday break. š
This is really odd. Would you be willing to answer a few questions to help me get started?
- Are you using any custom templates? You can check by looking for a folder calledĀ tribe-events in your theme directory.
- Are there calendar-related snippets in your theme? You can check by opening theĀ functions.php file and searching for anything with the word “tribe” in it.
- Did you notice a difference when testing for conflicts? In other words, were the events still out of order when you activated a default WordPress theme and deactivated all other plugins? If you could, it would be great if you could leave the site in those default conditions so I can see the issue from there.
Also, it would beĀ superĀ helpful if you could snag your system information (under Events > Settings > Help) and paste them here as a private reply.
Let’s start there and see what we find, thanks!

MemberThanks SO much for all the info, Samuel! This is super helpful.
What happens when you takeĀ temporarily take theĀ tribe-events folder out of your theme directory? Any difference then?
It looks like it’s shaping up to be either a conflict with the theme or a customization — this will help figure that out.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Geoff,
I renamed the folder to tribe-events_temp and thats the result:
http://www.cgweitefeld.de/events/The problem is still there š

MemberWell, shoot. That means this is a theme-related conflict rather than something with the calendar customizations.
I’m afraid we’re limited in how much we can support conflicts with themes. You could try using a snippet like this to display the events in reverse-reverse chronological order. I haven’t tested it personally, but hope it at least provides a good starting point for you:

ParticipantI’ll try it. Where should I paste it in?
Under /tribe-events/list.php?
No change: http://www.cgweitefeld.de/events/Hm.

ParticipantSo now we are in 2017…
http://www.cgweitefeld.de/events/Whats wrong? š

MemberThat snippetĀ reverses the order of events. It may not be the best solution, so feel free to remove it.
I’m afraid this is something I’ll have to refer you to the theme developerĀ for since the conflict is coming from there. I’ll leave this thread open, of course, and would be happy to answer any questions that might come up as the theme developer looks into it from that angle.
Sorry I don’t have a solid solution for you here, but I hope this at least gets the ball rolling in the right direction.
Thanks,
