Yes, both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO use structured data to help index events in search results. 🙂
In fact, the structured data is included in The Events Calendar by default, so PRO would be unnecessary if that’s the only feature you are looking for.

Once two events are in the same category, the Related Events feature will take any and all events in that same category into account. And, in this case, all of these events are in the “Featured” category, which makes them all related, at least in the eyes of the Related Events feature.
If these events are not related, then it would make sense to remove the “Featured” category altogether from them. Otherwise, the system will always see them as related.
Alternately, you can disable the Related Events feature by heading to Events > Settings > Display and selecting the option to “Hide related events” (screenshot).
