October 2, 2018 at 10:27 am in reply to: Events Calendar Plus Plug-in License Verification Before Support #1635639CourtneyMemberHey Jim
When you purchase Events Calendar Pro, an email containing the new license and a link to download the plugin will be sent, along with an account created for you.
When you get the new license, you can either deactivate and delete the old plugin, then upload your new version
OR
Just head to Events » Settings » Licenses to paste the new license in instead.
Keep me posted if you run into errors in the process.
Thanks
Courtney 🙂CourtneyMemberGreat to hear John Paul
I’ll close out this thread for now but let us know if you have any other questions.
Thanks

I’ll flag that for our developers.
Thanks
Courtney 🙂CourtneyMemberHey Jeff
We’re limited in helping with styling customizations, per our Scope of Support / Terms.
If you’d like to code this out yourself, please start with our Themer’s Guide.
If you’d like to hire someone to see this through, check out: Custom Development.
If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.
You can suggest it at http://tribe.uservoice.com.
Thanks
Courtney 🙂CourtneyMemberThanks Hey Michael
Can you help me clarify the problem. Can you provide links to where each of the screenshots above appears on your site?
Thanks
Courtney 🙂CourtneyMemberHey Paul
I just found your other thread too.
We’ll be with you shortly.
Thanks
Courtney 🙂CourtneyMemberHey Paul
I’ll pass this on again to our non-profit representative and let you know if she received the request.
Thanks
Courtney 🙂CourtneyMemberHey Luke
Can you please provide us with your System Info https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/ to better diagnose the problem?
I have a hunch that you also have Event Tickets installed. If so, the cost field may seem hidden. It wouldn’t be hidden just with The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro.
https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/show-cost-field/ could be a good solution for you. Test it out and let me know if it works for you.
Thanks
Courtney 🙂CourtneyMemberHi Diego
They are not TLDs available for purchase. Usually, they are a result of a staging configuration with your webhost or with software to run your site locally on your own computer while testing. https://local.getflywheel.com is a popular choice with our team.
In Using One License for Live and Dev Sites https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-one-license-live-dev-sites/, we do specify which domain structures that we currently support for staging sites.
If your site doesn’t match the criteria, you can still use the plugin. You will need to manually run updates, the license may not register (or you could register it there while building and later Move Your License Key https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-your-license-keys/.
If you need to contact support during that time, please manually send in your System Info.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks
Courtney 🙂CourtneyMemberHey Bruce
Thanks so much for getting in touch! I’m afraid that we’re not equipped to provide technical support for current plugin users here in our pre-sales forum.
I can share 2 resources with you to see this through. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/altering-or-removing-titles-on-calendar-views/ & https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/important-settings-events-calendar-events-calendar-pro/#address
For any further support, we’d be more than happy to assist you at one of the following locations:
• If you’re using one or more of our free plugins such as The Events Calendar and Event Tickets, you can request assistance on the WordPress.org support forum for the affected product.
• If you’re a current license holder for one of our premium offerings, please log in to your account and submit a post to the appropriate forum for the affected product. Please include your System Info https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/ so we can better help you.If you can, please take the time to confirm in your post that you’ve run through our Testing for Conflicts steps prior to contacting us–this will save us a step and help us to get your issue resolved that much quicker! 🙂
Thanks again, and we’ll see you in the forums!
Courtney 🙂CourtneyMemberHey @webero
We’ve seen an uptick in similar reports. Our developers will investigate this further, but in many cases, there is no reason for alarm. The error message you see is from a legacy format. We now also use JSON-LD data, which still passes all the results along for Google’s rich snippets. Deprecating the now outdated method by us removing the code entirely is bad form. Ultimately, it seems to be a false alarm so far.
We’ll keep you updated as we investigate.
@mathewlewis thank you again for popping in with helpful replies. As we migrate to a new help desk platform, I’ll miss reviewing your insights. Thanks
Courtney ?CourtneyMemberHey Robbie
Can you check this out on our demo site: WP Shindig Demo Site https://wpshindig.com/events/. In the lower right, see the +Export Events button. This will prompt users to add the site to their own calendar software. You can copy the link to give out via newsletters, etc. as well. And if you’re up for a bit of coding work, you could change the text on that button as well.
Let me know if this will help.
Thanks
Courtney 🙂CourtneyMemberHi Steven
Can you tell me where this calendar is located? I viewed https://www.saintregiskofc.org/calendar-of-events/ on my laptop and all looked as expected and then checked it on mobile and saw the calendar in mobile view as well and saw the expected mobile layout.
For comparison, can you check out WP Shindig Demo Site https://wpshindig.com/events/. This also includes our mobile-responsive layout.
At 1024px wide, the calendar will use the desktop layout, and less than that it will use the mobile display.
Is this what you are experiencing and expecting on your site?
Thanks
