MemberHi James
Have you checked out Community Events? This will allow users to submit events. It does not require Events Calendar Pro. It also allows you to review the submission before it’s published live.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

MemberHey there @igvinc & @mathewlewis
We’ve seen an uptick in similar reports. Our developers will investigate this further, but in many cases, there is no reason for alarm. The error message you see is from a legacy format. We now also use JSON-LD data, which still passes all the results along for Google’s rich snippets. Deprecating the now outdated microformat method by us removing the code entirely is bad form. Ultimately, it seems to be a false alarm so far.
We are looking into graceful ways to remove the old format, and will update you as we progress. The necessary event markup is still being shared to Google via JSON-LD.
Thanks

I do see that your plugins may not be completely up to date. I’d still suggest testing and running updates, but these won’t resolve this error. Just a helpful reminder.
We’ll update you with our findings.
Thanks

So glad you found that. It really should get things working for you. I’ll close out this thread for now but let us know if you have any other questions.
Thanks

MemberHi Petra
The license is an annual renewal of approximately $89. That ongoing renewal will provide you with product updates and access to our help desk. If the license expires, the plugin will continue to work based upon how it had at your last available update. Support and updates will stop at that time.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

@sallynewcomb & @thewebadvisors Thanks for the heads up. We’re definitely diving in to sort out these new errors. Would you each open a new thread, and share your System Info https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/ as well? Thanks

MemberHey Brad
The Events Calendar and the related plugins are all powered by self-hosted WordPress. The exceptions being that Event Aggregator processes on our servers and imports into client WordPress sites, and one more that might be a option for you.
Check out our latest event calendar tool that you can use on any content management system: Loxi.io. You can get started with a free trial today and see if it will meet your needs.
At this time, we do not have a demo of the back end. However, you can see for a demo of the front end of our products. Check it out at WP Shindig Demo Site https://wpshindig.com/events/.Â
Read more at: Do you have a demo, examples I can see, or trial licenses?
Is there anything else I can help you with?

MemberHey Jim
I am unable to locate a license key for that address. Can you go to Events » Settings » Licenses and copy/paste the license key when Events Calendar Pro is active?
Do you know what email address a previous developer may have used?
Thanks
Courtney 🙂Courtney
MemberHey Gemma
That is exactly one of the best features in Community Events. Read more about it.
Note that this is a separate plugin from The Events Calendar or Events Calendar Pro.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

MemberHey John Paul
So sorry for the delay. We’re experiencing a higher volume of threads than normal at this time.
I see that your plugins are active on your staging server, however, your license covers just 1 domain.
In Using One License for Live and Dev Sites https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-one-license-live-dev-sites/, we do specify which domain structures that we currently support for staging sites.Â
If your site doesn’t match the criteria, you can still use the plugin. You will need to manually run updates, the license may not register (or you could register it there while building and later Move Your License Key https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-your-license-keys/. (Pick up with step 2 here if needed for moving)
If you need to contact support during that time, please manually send in your System Info.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

MemberHey Madeleine
We really don’t have a good tutorial on how to achieve this.
I did find something that may help get you started: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/moving-tribe-bar-using-shortcode/#post-1213901.
We’re limited in helping with styling customizations, per our Scope of Support / Terms. You’ll need to do some development to see this through.
If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.
You can suggest it at http://tribe.uservoice.com.
Thanks
