Why is it all squished regardless when i open it and zoom in and out?
October 2, 2018 at 3:53 am #1635233CourtneyMemberHi Steven
Can you tell me where this calendar is located? I viewed https://www.saintregiskofc.org/calendar-of-events/ on my laptop and all looked as expected and then checked it on mobile and saw the calendar in mobile view as well and saw the expected mobile layout.
For comparison, can you check out WP Shindig Demo Site https://wpshindig.com/events/. This also includes our mobile-responsive layout.
At 1024px wide, the calendar will use the desktop layout, and less than that it will use the mobile display.
Is this what you are experiencing and expecting on your site?
Thanks

October 2, 2018 at 11:03 am #1635660CourtneyMemberHi Steven
https://cloudup.com/cwJOD5m_pHj is an example of what I see. This would be expected on a mobile device with a screen size under 1024 px wide (a tablet in landscape mode would show what a desktop sees). The view I am seeing is designed for phones. When you click on a date that has a dot on it, the details of the event display below.
Are you seeing this on screen sizes above 1024px wide?
Thanks

Look at another calendar that runs off your program on my cellphone (see attachment) Let’s be clear this is NOT my calendar, but I want mine to look like that (its not all squished up)Same phone same resolution

October 4, 2018 at 11:34 am #1637695CourtneyMemberHey there Steven
So sorry for the delayed response.
I visited your site again and it appears as though you’ve changed the theme. https://cloudup.com/c41qtt2MSrs
Are the days of the week spaced out as you’d like now?
Thanks
Courtney ๐October 4, 2018 at 11:39 am #1637698sblairParticipantNo they are not. Ty.
Now I want to do the events details below the calendar how do I do that for
the month only public events.October 4, 2018 at 1:01 pm #1637769CourtneyMemberHi Steven
Can you tell me what you would like to have happen differently with the names of the days?
When you click on an event, the details will display below the calendar. https://cloudup.com/cUHHDob52a3 Is this what you were referring to?
Thanks

Events for October 2018 public words?October 5, 2018 at 4:59 am #1638080CourtneyMemberHey Steven
The way that is displayed is a bit unexpected. On WP Shindig Demo Site https://wpshindig.com/events/ you can see what we would expect for the title area. This would likely relate to your theme’s settings.
Here are 2 options:
1. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/altering-or-removing-titles-on-calendar-views/ You can change the title completely with a bit of coding on your end.
2. You could try to add the following code to your child theme, or in Appearance ยป Customize ยป Additional CSS, but the > before Public Events would still display.
.tribe-events-page-title a { display:none; }
Let me know how your efforts go.
Thanks
