MemberHi Denise
I’m so sorry to hear this. I’m just returning from a family vacation, and will be on hand to help resolve this issue. I’ve flagged this thread for the dev team working on this issue, and will be sure you get an update as soon as we’ve got a better solution.
Thanks

MemberHi Amy
Wow, I’m so sorry to hear that. I have just returned from a family vacation, and am catching up on a lot of EA issues that have happened in the past few days. I do see that we released and update plus a hotfix for The Events Calendar and also updated our Event Aggregator server within the past day. Can you confirm that these issues are still happening since the updates? I’d like to pass that information along to the dev team.
Thanks

MemberHi Michelle
I’m sorry for the delayed response. I’ve just returned from family vacation, and will be on hand to help handle this matter. While I was out, I discovered that the fix we pushed resolved the matter for some users, and not others. I know how frustrating this must be. Unfortunately, I do not have a more clear answer to share other than we are still working as fast as we can to resolve this issue.
I really hope to have better news to share soon.
Thanks

MemberHi there!
Thanks so much for getting in touch! I’m afraid that we’re not equipped to provide technical support for current plugin users here in our pre-sales forum. We’d be more than happy to assist you at one of the following locations:
โข If you’re using one or more of our free plugins such as The Events Calendar and Event Tickets, you can request assistance on the WordPress.org support forum for the affected product.
โข If you’re a current license holder for one of our premium offerings, please log in to your account and submit a post to the appropriate forum for the affected product. Please include your System Info https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/ so we can better help you.If you can, please take the time to confirm in your post that you’ve run through our Testing for Conflicts steps prior to contacting us–this will save us a step and help us to get your issue resolved that much quicker! ๐
Thanks again, and we’ll see you in the forums!

MemberThere is definitely a Javascript error happening that seems to be the blocking point here. ๐ Unfortunatley, that is beyond the Scope of Supportย /ย Terms.
I would suggest trying a fresh install of WordPress in a sub-directory and installing the same plugins/theme from scratch to see if the issue persists.
Do let me know if the wp-debug log shares any insights.
Thanks

MemberHi Oliver
I noticed that on the first two links, there are no events currently scheduled. Can you let me know when an event is scheduled and fails to import?
On the 3rd link, I was able to successfully import the 1 event. Is that one still failing for you?
Thanks

MemberHi Ulf
Yes, calendar view shortcodes can support categories. Please let me know if that works out.

MemberHi Breanna
I’d like to escalate this issue further, but first I need to confirm that you’ve definitely Tested for Conflicts https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/?
Also, can you enable WP_DEBUG and sharing any PHP errors you see while navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket?
Once you share your WP_DEBUG findings, we may be able to get an idea of any plugin or theme conflicts.
Please enable WP_DEBUG on your site. You’ll need to edit to your site’s wp-config.php file and change this line of code:
define('WP_DEBUG', false);to this:define('WP_DEBUG', true);
(or add this line of code if you can’t find mention of ‘WP_DEBUG’ in your wp-config.php file)If any errors do appear while navigating your site’s pages, please copy and paste them in their entirety into a new ticket reply — along with the URL of where you saw the error(s) — and make sure you set it as a Private reply.
Thanks

MemberHello Matthew
Can you start by going through our Testing for Conflicts Guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/?ย I am wondering if you might have a plugin or theme conflict.ย Begin by deactivating all other plugins, using a theme such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/, and see if the issue still persists. Also, double check for any other updates available (Dashboard ยป Updates).ย
Please let me know if the issue still persists after these tests.
Thanks
