O.M.A. Mediation
ParticipantHi there, we just bought event calendar pro thinking it would solve the issue but to no avail.
we just want to use the free RSVP feature, but even if well configured in settings (should display below event description) and is enabled for event custom type, there is no way to even just display the rsvp form, it’s nowhere to be seen, we are using WPML + X Theme and a bit lost on where to start to debug this issue.
also how do you see if any ticket is tied to an event ? when I edit an event I know I already added a ticket, i can add more ticket, but there is no way to see that a ticket is already tied to the event…is that normal ?
any help, any direction would be very appreciated !
best,

MemberHey there
I think you are looking for features that come with our free plugin, Event Tickets. Can you install that, and in the Events » Settings » Tickets, enable that these will work on Events. This allows for free RSVP functionality with your events.
Let me know if that makes more sense for rsvp features and tickets, or if you have further questions.
Thanks

ParticipantAlready have it installed since day one, I don’t know what else to do, already disabled all plugins, tested with X theme (not working) so I enabled the default twenty-four template, with all the plugins disabled, same result, the rsvp form, the tickets, either in backend of front-end simply don’t show up.
This event for example should show 3 tickets : https://oma-mediation.com/event/les-ateliers-psy-%E2%80%AF-%E2%80%AFle-couple%E2%80%AF/
i can’t see a thing, either front-end of backend that a ticket exist tied to this event.
before coming to here I have tested everything I could on my own to make sure I wasn’t doing something bad on my own. I’m out of options

MemberHello
Can you start by going through our Testing for Conflicts Guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/? I am wondering if you might have a plugin or theme conflict. Begin by deactivating all other plugins, using a theme such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/, and see if the issue still persists. Also, double check for any other updates available (Dashboard » Updates).
Would you mind enabling WP_DEBUG and sharing any PHP errors you see while navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket?
Once you share your WP_DEBUG findings, we may be able to get an idea of any plugin or theme conflicts.
Please enable WP_DEBUG on your site. You’ll need to edit to your site’s wp-config.php file and change this line of code:
define('WP_DEBUG', false);to this:define('WP_DEBUG', true);
(or add this line of code if you can’t find mention of ‘WP_DEBUG’ in your wp-config.php file)If any errors do appear while navigating your site’s pages, please copy and paste them in their entirety into a new ticket reply — along with the URL of where you saw the error(s) — and make sure you set it as a Private reply.
Finally, please check for Javascript errors: Using Your Browser to Diagnose JavaScript Errors.
Please let me know if the issue still persists after these tests. You may have already gone through some of these, but I’d like to confirm that you’ve
gotten through all of them.Thanks

ParticipantI followed your instructions and found that what is creating a conflict is WPML
once I had it disabled, RSVP would show up with any theme, so i went backward, re-enabled my X theme, then re enabled each elements of the WPML set of plugins and now magic : the RSVP keeps showing up and it works fine. !I’m not sure what is the logic here since I have the exact same set of plugins enabled, the same theme, but it works ?
maybe I should not ask the question but I would like to understand what/how is this possible.August 31, 2017 at 10:04 am #1343242O.M.A. Mediation
ParticipantNot sure how the conflict was solved since my setup and plugins/themes enabled are exactly the same but anyway, thanks for the support !

MemberWell that’s good news! I’m not sure why it works now, but do keep us posted if you notice it stops at some point.
Thanks
