MemberHey there Bogdan
The events page is an archive page. Think of it much the same as /blog can be set to display previews of all your “Posts”. It is generated when the plugin is activated. These tutorials can walk you through basic settings:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/important-settings-events-calendar-events-calendar-pro/
New User Primer: The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro
And if you’d like to customize the /Events page, please see our Themer’s Guide.
Thanks

MemberHi Alexander
What error is it showing? Can you upload a screenshot or copy/paste the error message?
We have a policy to not log in to customer sites.
Thanks

MemberHey Barbara
Per our Themer’s Guide, you wouldn’t want to replace the code in the plugin files as this would be lost with an update.
Can you head to Appearance » Customize » Additional CSS and try there? WordPress favors CSS code in this location as a priority over all other css files usually.
We usually send customization requests to Custom Development, as it’s beyond our We’re limited in helping with styling customizations, per our Scope of Support / Terms.
You could check out the initial work done for a similar request at https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/map-view-tooltip-customization/#post-1282575.
Let me know if your CSS works.

MemberHey Andrew
I’m glad you’ve narrowed down the source of the conflict. Can you reach out to them to see if they can help you override this conflict? They may have had others encounter a similar issue.
Thanks

MemberGotcha. Thanks Brett.
We have not changed anything, but it’s always a first starting point for our troubleshooting.
I’ll close out this thread for now but let us know if you have any other questions.
Thanks

MemberHey Ben
Facebook recently declined our efforts to work with them. https://theeventscalendar.com/important-facebook-api-changes/Â We are terribly sorry about this.Â
You can still import events using either of these 2 options outlined in How to Import Facebook Events into Event Aggregator https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/how-to-import-facebook-events-into-event-aggregator/, though it is a less ideal method than we previously had available.
Needless to say, we are just as stuck and frustrated as our clients on this issue. If anything changes, we will continue to keep you updated through our social channels, blog posts, newsletters, and on https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/ea-fb-privacy-policy and https://theeventscalendar.com/event-aggregator-status/.
To deactivate Event Aggregator, simply remove your license from Events » Settings » Licenses and/or delete any scheduled imports. It is not a stand-alone plugin, but comes with The Events Calendar. It does nothing without an active license, and is no more or less code either way. All the actual work is processed on our servers before events are imported to your site.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicate-tec-event/ is a 3rd party plugin that we do not maintain nor support but has worked well to help some people duplicate their events.
We are experiencing a few bugs with the Eventbrite importer. Can you tell me which way you are importing events from Eventbrite? Are you using the Eventbrite tickets importer still? Are you seeing tickets display on your site? And are you using it to publish events to Eventbrite?
Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks

MemberHi Lauren
Both Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus can use Paypal for a payment gateway.
Event Tickets Plus would handle this using an e-commerce plugin as well. We currently support WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads.Read more about each option’s features and payment gateways. It would provide additional features specific to Plus, such as QR codes on tickets for checking in, custom fields, and more.
Event Tickets can connect with Paypal using Tribe Commerce. It may be a good starting point before determining if you want the additional features within Event Tickets Plus.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

MemberHey Joseph
Facebook has never permitted importing events via their Events API. That would be a useful feature, but would best be handled as a suggestion for them. They have also revoked any support for RSS importing to personal profiles. However, I think they still allow tools like Hootsuite to publish to a business page via RSS. This would just be a link back to your site, not an event within your page.
Thanks

MemberHello Brett
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Whenever troubleshooting, it’s best to enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG (which will create a file on your server at /wp-content/debug.log if there are any WP_DEBUG messages) and share any debug messages you see while trying to replicate this issue and doing other things on your site relevant to this ticket (such as visiting your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and anything else you can think to do).
If there’s nothing obvious (such as a console error or WP_DEBUG message) pointing you to what might be the problem, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/.Â
You might find your plugin conflict quickly by using Plugin Detective https://wordpress.org/plugins/plugin-detective/.
We recommend conducting these tests on a staging server (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/creating-using-wordpress-staging-site/).Â
If you are unable to do so, please install the Health Check plugin so that you can effectively disable all plugins without website visitors noticing any changes. See https://make.wordpress.org/support/handbook/appendix/troubleshooting-using-the-health-check/#troubleshooting for how to do this.
Please share or reshare in your System Info https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/ as well after your tests so that we can better diagnose the issues you are having.Â
Please let me know if the issue still persists after these tests.
Thanks

MemberHi Alexander
Did you download the plugin and upload it to your site? Is the license key field that you are pasting the license into labeled as Event Aggregator or as a different plugin that you purchased.
Thanks
Courtney 🙂Courtney
MemberHey Ron
I’d suggest using a shortcode to achieve this. We do offer Calendar View Shortcodes https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/ and Widget Shortcodes https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/ for Events Calendar Pro https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/
I’d go for [tribe_events view=”month” category”unit1″] as an embed. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/ can walk you through more specific display and filter options.
Thanks

MemberHey Jaxx
So sorry about that. Can you confirm that first Event Tickets is installed?
Then deactivate any other e-commerce plugins. Try to upload Event Tickets Plus, and then activate Woo, etc.
If that does not work, can you deactivate ALL plugins and go through the above steps again?
Let me know how this goes.
Thanks

MemberHey Karen
Community Events does not require Events Calendar Pro. It will not include some of the extras that come with Events Calendar Pro, such as Additional Fields.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks
